Leads and orchestrates projects by exercising sound judgment in independently assessing, selecting, and creatively adapting standard methodologies tailored for our valued food and beverage industry clients.

May supervise and coordinate the work of less experienced engineers and designers and be responsible for checking a portion or all of the drawings completed on the project within the discipline.
May take part in client contact and business development activities.

Develops engineering concepts and presentations.
Coordinates work with other disciplines.
Keeps current on new design methods and ideas.

Qualifications
Qualifications You'll Need on Day One:
A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, qualifying for licensure in your state, is essential for this position.
PE or PE-tracked strongly preferred, ten (10) or more years of related practical experience with former employer(s) required.
A minimum of 8 years of experience designing HVAC and mechanical utility systems, along with a solid background in sanitary production environments, is ideal.
Prior consulting experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or food industry, and experience in sanitary design required.
Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD programs.
Strong communications, facilitation, and team leadership skills.
Salary Range: $120,000 to $130,000 a year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
