Key responsibilities may include:
Performing responsible engineer activities, which include all aspects of fire protection system/component design and development including trade studies, layouts, architecture definition, system test & verification, and troubleshooting. Basic Qualifications:
Staff Responsible/Analysis Engineer - Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline AND 12 years of engineering experience, OR Master's degree in STEM AND 10 years of engineering experience, OR PhD in STEM AND 7 years of engineering experience
Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
Must have professional experience related to the development and integration of fire protection subsystems or components

Job Purpose:
Design protection and control relaying applications for substations with focus on Protection & Control Settings and SCADA Settings. Expected to develop or possess expertise in protective relay settings calculations and analysis based on current and evolving standards (IEEE, NERC, etc.).
