The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing mechanical system design packages for gas turbine auxiliary mechanical equipment. Essential Skills

+ Experience with one or more of the following: Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Filters, Fans, Compressors.
+ Knowledge in oil and gas, mechanical design, and equipment selection.
+ Proficient in HTRI (Heat Transfer Research) and related software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor Degree in Engineering required; Masters is a plus.

You are comfortable working independently and taking ownership on site, that includes a willingness to travel (approximately 30-40%).
Ideally you are experienced with Novastar, Analog Way Aquilon, Pixera, Disguise and similar platforms.
Familiarity with Absen LED systems and event-based AV workflows, as well as electrical and power distribution for AV systems (PDUs, UPS, rack power, generator/temporary power, load calculations, and safe load management) would be a plus.

Job Purpose:
Design protection and control relaying applications for substations with focus on Protection & Control Settings and SCADA Settings. Expected to develop or possess expertise in protective relay settings calculations and analysis based on current and evolving standards (IEEE, NERC, etc.).
