What this job involves:
The Critical Environments Operating Engineer is responsible for delivery of best practice systems and problem resolution on all data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure (UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, cooling systems etc.)
What is your day to day?
Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems to maintain 100% Up-time including: fire/life safety, mechanical systems such as (HVAC, chillers, crac, crah, plumbing, controls), electrical including emergency backup systems such as (lighting, UPS, ATS, STS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear, power distribution, transformers), and hot water systems.
Monitors operation, adjusts, and maintains refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; boilers, and ventilating and water heaters; pumps, valves, piping, and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment.
Must record readings and make and adjust where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.
Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Maintains a clean and safe workplace.
Learn and understand the data center site in-order to manage incidents and events that put the critical systems at risk.
Work order management, including CMMS, Vendor Management, and Customer Facing Tickets.
Understanding and complying with emergency escalation procedures.
Perform additional job duties as required.

Physical Work Abilities & Requirements:

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) - Phantom Works organization in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking an Experienced Low Observables (LO) Design and Integration Engineer to support design, analysis, and propulsion subsystem integration of low-observable materials, treatments, and architectures.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LO materials and technologies, demonstrated experience integrating LO solutions with advanced propulsion systems, strong understanding of electromagnetic (EM) principles affecting radar cross section (RCS) and signature, and practical experience using computational electromagnetic (CEM) solvers to design, predict, and optimize low observable systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform design, analysis, and integration activities for LO integration of the propulsion subsystem into an advanced next generation platform, including inlets, nozzle/exhaust and airframe interfaces.
Use CEM solvers to model and analyze RCS, scattering, and signature behavior; iterate designs to meet LO requirements.

Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate primary responsibility will be:
Analyze capability requirements and collaborate with technical leads, test managers, and Agile teams to ensure verifiable implementations.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college, or equivalent combination of education and experience; 8-12 years of professional experience, or 6-10 years with a related Master's degree.
Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
Active Security+ (or other 8570-compliant) certification, or ability to obtain within a short timeframe.
8+ years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years with the ELK stack (Kafka, Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana) focused on integration testing and visualization validation.
Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including end-user engagement and validation.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Kibana, Elasticsearch APIs, Jira, Confluence, and Git repositories.

**Job Summary**
Join us as a Mechanical Engineer II, responsible for the development, testing and analysis of a variety of HVAC&R products for both commercial and defense markets including heat exchanger coils, rugged air conditioning systems, refrigeration plants, and air handling systems.
