Job Summary This customer and product development focused position serves as the technical liaison between OEMs, sales, project management and engineering departments during new product development programs. The role of the Project Engineer is to plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines within budget. This includes managing resources and coordinating efforts of team members to define and deliver project objectives according to the PDP (Product Development Process). Essential Job Functions Develops strong working relationships with customer technical counterparts to serve as their primary liaison to deliver product technical information, manage product specifications, communicate product change information, conduct installation issue resolutions, and facilitate customer requests. Experience: At least three years of engineering experience in design, manufacturing, cabinetry, or millwork; or five years of commercial manufacturing shop floor experience in furniture, cabinetry, or millwork. Hands-on experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MS Office is a plus (training available). Familiarity with ERP software, such as Global Shop, is preferred (training available).
