Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Pulls samples from stock to fill orders. * Operates scanner to adjust and control sample inventory in the system. * Moves sample items to the packing and shipping area. * Performs general housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean work environment. * Uses a rolling cart, hand-held scanner, and computer to accomplish tasks. * Also performs the following rotating duties as assigned * Bevels sample material * Packs and ships sample orders * Stocks shelves with newly labeled and/or beveled material in the warehouse * Labels sample pieces * Processes returned samples * Performs other duties as assigned. Performance Expectations (if applicable): * Must be able of picking an average of 120 pieces an hour for the duration of the shift. * Working conditions associated with a typical warehouse environment include occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment. * Retrieving sample items requires almost continual standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. * Frequent stooping and reaching are also required. * Close vision is required to read and identify sample items and match them to the order. Experience/Education Requirements: * HS diploma or equivalent is preferred. * Basic computer skills to enter and retrieve data. * Ability to read and write and understand sample orders and basic instructions * Basic math skills required. Other Requirements: * Safety equipment must be worn as required. * Overtime may be required occasionally. * All accidents must be reported immediately. * Responsible for safety and the quality of his or her own output. * Must be able to detect shade variation in sample material to ensure product quality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Follow all Safety, Plant & Quality Guidelines Secure packages of yarn and load them onto the Heatset creel. Check every yarn tube before placing it on the creel, verifying that it is identified precisely as described on the spec sheet. Verify that each tube of yarn is of the quality specified on the spec sheet. Put a tube cap on each as soon as it is in position when required on the spec sheet. Air Splice the package lead end to the tail of the running end package. Periodically check the thread path. If it is crossed, stop the machine and correct it immediately. Check for slubs and/or chokes in tensioners. Tension is a crucial factor in run ability. The tensioners must be kept clean. Clean your assignment and work area each shift. Performance Expectations (if applicable): Follow printed & spoken instructions & specifications effectively. Able to stand for long periods. Hand dexterity sufficient to handle packages and operate splicer or tie weavers knots as specified. Able to lift & place numerous 12-20 lb. packages per shift. Experience/Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Read & write instructions effectively. Effective communication skills.
