We are hiring a Construction Project Engineer to support the delivery of ground-up multifamily and mixed-use projects. This is a fast-moving role ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to real construction, strong mentorship, and a clear path toward Project Manager.

**Job Description**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Work within hospital radiology environment to evaluate and troubleshoot imaging equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs.
+ Complete Preventative Maintenance on designated equipment.

About the Role
The Field Engineer Intern is responsible for aiding assistance to more senior staff (Project Managers, Superintendents) in the coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control functions of a projects in Montrose and Parshall area. This is a task-based role that requires working knowledge of core elements of construction projects (field management, estimating, project management).
As a Field Engineer Intern at Moltz, you will:
* Perform a variety of duties including but not limited to administrative duties, update schedules and budgets, maintain cost control, and monitor labor material and equipment activities on the project
* Work with Project Managers/on-site Superintendent to update project schedule and budget to identify potential construction issues
* Attend all project team meetings, and document team meetings, action items, and other pertinent project deliverables/decisions
* Monitor project change management process, identify change events, submit change notices, track changes and optional changes in project scope, and present to the Project Manager when required
* Assist with drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions and change orders
* Support Project Manager and Superintendent with creating templates and supporting documents on behalf of project team regarding roles and responsibilities
* Record change orders and update site drawings
* Monitor payroll functions, cost accruals and reviews on a regular basis
* Maintain QA/QC and Safety records
* Review the Field Surveillance Reports (FSR) and initiate NCRs based on analysis and severity of findings
Qualifications & Experience:
* In progress Trade Certification or Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field experience is required.
* 2-3 years construction experience is a plus
* Strong presentation skills.
* Proficient with MS Office Suite.
* Proficient using scheduling and project management software

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Work within hospital radiology environment to evaluate and troubleshoot imaging equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs.

+ Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within the defined deadlines. Identify and report any and all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
