Create efficient and accurate programs for every CNC machine (multi-axis, lathes, and mills with live tooling, etc.) using CAM software or manualy.

Provide technical support to manufacturing operations by developing machining and assembly methods which assure the most cost effective manufacturing process and materials.
Communicate customer geometric dimensioning and tolerancing requirements to the production workforce, engineering group and outside sources via operational drawings and instruction.
Design and specify castings to meet customer and process requirements.
Manage projects and available resources to complete stated objectives, staying within budget and on schedule, while meeting customer quality requirements.
Manage cross functional manufacturing teams to promote and instutue process improvements to achieve cost saving goals.
Determine labor and material cost of parts or assemblies using customer drawings and specifications.

- Batchelor's degree in an Engineering discipline and 3 years minimum practical production machining experience.
- Eight years of progressive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Must be proficient with current computer software in the areas of inventory, manufacturing, engineering and financial information.
- Must be able to work within a professional and office environment.
- Must be able to climb stairs occassionally.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to operate office equipement, computer, printers, copiers, etc. which includes all physical abilities required for data input.
- Must be able to understand and reliably carry out extensive and detailed process instructions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively by both written and oral means.
- Must be able to comprehend complex systems information to effectively troubleshoot problems and implement improvements.
- Must be able to comprehend complex engineering CAD models and drawings.
This position requires minimum travel. Hours are Mon-Fri, 7-5 with a one hour lunch. Overtime and weekends are required.

Requirements
Ideal Skills: Proficiency using 3D CAD Software, SOLIDWORKS preferred.
Working Knowledge of:
* Metal component fabrication including, slitting, stamping, laser cutting, forming, turning, welding, and machining
* Metal finishing operations including, bulk cleaning, vibratory finishing, electroplating, conversion coating, and powder coat application
* Lean assembly techniques
* Hands on Quality Measurement Techniques for SPC
* Solid mechanical aptitude
* Ability to communicate and work with people at all levels of the office and factory floor
* An understanding of industrial controls such as PLCs, relay logic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems a plus
Required Qualifications
* Education - Bachelor's Degree in a Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Discipline or an Associate Engineering Degree with Tool and Fixture design experience.
