What You'll Do:
Implement and monitor data governance best practices based on established frameworks.
Partner with both technical and business stakeholders to define clear ownership, stewardship, and accountability for asset data.
Lead data quality efforts for pipeline asset information, including profiling, cleansing, and remediation.
Ensure data management practices align with key industry standards (ISO, ISA, CFIHOS, etc.).
Build and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation.
Manage governance documentation, processes, and digital workspace content (including SharePoint), especially as they relate to asset-related nomenclature.
Facilitate working groups and lead awareness sessions focused on data governance within the pipeline industry.
Track and report on governance metrics and the effectiveness of implemented controls.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business.
4+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or similar work-preferably within the energy sector.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality tools.
Understanding of pipeline industry regulations (PHMSA) and best practices in asset-related data management.
Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Proven experience working collaboratively across engineering, operations, and compliance teams.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with pipeline asset management systems, GIS platforms, or records management tools.
SharePoint design/management and PowerApps (forms/workflows).
Power BI reporting experience.
Knowledge of master data management (MDM) concepts.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially when working with safety-critical infrastructure data.

**District Overview**
The Industrial Company (TIC) Southern is a long-standing district within the business unit of TIC, a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation. TIC Southern focuses on construction execution for oil, gas & chemical (OGC) projects in midstream, LNG, downstream, petrochemicals, alternative fuels, and more. Recently TIC Southern has expanded its portfolio to support the expanding Power market to include the construction execution of combined and single cycle power plants. **Location**
With our home office in The Woodlands, Texas, we build various project sites across North America. Examples of recent and current project sites have been throughout the United States Gulf Coast, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Montana, California, Alberta (Canada), and Veracruz (Mexico).
**Responsibilities**
- Field engineering, operational planning, quantity and cost control, project scheduling, quantity tracking, material procurement, contract administration, estimating & supervision of field activities
- Performing engineering tasks requiring standard techniques and handling minor problems of a technical nature arising during construction
- Maintaining records as required regarding job progress, costs, material usage, etc.
- Assist in execution planning and scheduling of job segments
- Investigating problems and/or reported incidents; identifying and recommending solutions/alternatives as appropriate
- Reviewing plans and specifications to determine material requirements (quantities and qualities), pricing of materials, etc.
- Coordinating with suppliers to manage, track, and expedite the procurement and delivery of materials as needed.
- Assisting in the overall execution of project engineering related activities by supporting the project management team with the planning, execution, and closeout of project related tasks
**Qualifications**
- Ability to travel and frequently relocate as needed
- Ability to work full-time during the summer (approximately May-August)
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
- Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site across diverse climates and environments
- Highly motivated, with demonstrated leadership skills, a passion for excellence, and taking initiative
- Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
