Overview of the position:
At Clark Pacific, the Project Engineer is a position that facilitates the successful design, fabrication, and installation of architectural and structural building systems. Working as part of an integrated team within a specific business unit, this role applies engineering, project management, problem solving, and communication skills across all levels and disciplines within the organization, significantly contributing to the project success of some of the West Coast's most iconic and exciting prefabricated buildings.
Initial activities pertaining to the Design Phase, including, but not limited to: Submittal drawings (floor plans, elevations, material specifications, connection details, Reinforcing details, General panel details, Design approvals, Reinforcement drawings, and Miscellaneous metal drawings.

+ Resolving problems generated from the plans and specifications
+ Establishing control points and lines using field instruments (level, theodolite, total station)

Project Interns can expect a preliminary meeting with their supervisor to discuss the goals, expectations, and desired outcomes of the internship. Employee-owners participating in an internship will be reviewed upon the completion of their internship. This review should be used as a tool to communicate the successes and learning outcomes of the internship. The supervisor will also complete any necessary paperwork that must be provided to the Project Intern's school or university.
Individuals hired as interns will be classified as **Temporary employee-owners** as defined in Policy A-5. Temporary employee-owners are not eligible for vacation pay, holiday pay or any of the other benefits listed in Policy A-5.

Your daily impact:
Assist in preliminary and detailed design tasks for water, wastewater, and recycled water projects.
Conduct research and technology comparisons to evaluate treatment and conveyance system alternatives.
Support preparation of specifications, bid packages, and construction submittal reviews under supervision.
Participate in field observation and quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical engineers.
Maintain accurate documentation of field observations, calculations, and non-compliance issues.
Learn and apply engineering design principles, construction practices, and project management concepts.
Contribute to proposals and other business development efforts as opportunities arise.
Perform general office duties and assist with a wide range of engineering tasks as required.
What you bring to the table:
Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
Strong academic foundation with coursework related to water, wastewater, and infrastructure design preferred.
Interest in real-world applications of engineering concepts to community water systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); exposure to CAD or modeling software a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The Customer Support (CS) organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, repair As and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer sites and the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. This internship sits within our Field Applications Engineering team that partners with the local technical support and sustaining teams to optimize the machine's performance (Overlay, imaging, and productivity) for the customers products.
Your assignment:
The goal of the internship is to work in a team environment alongside local experienced engineers, project managers, and leaders to gain insight on the ASML ways of working and our groundbreaking technology.
Specific projects will be tailored to match the education/experience level of the intern as well as the interns learning objectives for the summer.
Interns will typically be required to document and present their findings as well as making an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship.
Past projects have included:
Identifying and documenting goals and targets (KPIs).
Evaluating current processes and updating documentation to adhere to continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN/6 Sigma).
Creating data visualizations to identify potential opportunities for automation (Tableau/Power BI/Python/SpotFire).
Collaborating with Engineers from other areas and shifts to identify Best Known Methods (BKMs).
Participating in projects to improve performance of the.
Education and experience
Minimum 60 hours completed towards a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field and an expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027.
Preferred Majors: Physics, Optics, Optical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Micro-electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering or IC manufacturing.
Knowledgeable in MS Office applications - Excel, OneNote, Teams, PowerPoint.
