We are looking for a project engineer to bridge corporate and project field support. Responsibilities:
Meet regularly with all parties involved, including subcontractors, superintendents, project managers and clients when necessary
Help prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned construction projects. This includes tracking time and correct phase code for the crew.
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications checks.
May Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
Assist in overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, and plans) and report regularly on project status
Support Superintendent with day to day assignment of responsibilities, including receiving deliveries, ensuring correct products and quantities, as well as other recording of data and inspection as needed.
Support Corporate office and HR with collecting and recording documentation such as safety training certificate, new hire paperwork, benefits paperwork, etc. needed from the field team.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support. Project manager assistant might involve on site construction meetings, preparing and updating minutes, updating schedules and submittals, as well as RFIs, RFQs, and other project documents. May help prepare and manage subcontracts and invoices, secure building permits, and review timecards.
Review construction deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Requirements:
Construction experience
Advanced MS Office skills, Procore experience desired
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
