Job Description Supports resort operations by performing maintenance duties such as projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders. Duties Perform engineering projects, guest calls, preventative maintenance, and repairs on plumbing, electrical components, HVAC systems, and household appliances. Maintain interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, flooring, and pools/spas. Operate and maintain resort equipment, tools, and software systems effectively and safely. Participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure availability of necessary materials. Communicate professionally with guests and team members, addressing needs and resolving issues promptly. Adhere to safety guidelines, identify potential hazards, and comply with all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by resort operations leadership. Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities to identify and report maintenance needs. Assist in the development and implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences during maintenance activities. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment servicing. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and new technologies. Respond to emergency situations and perform necessary repairs or interventions as needed. Assist in the orientation and training of new engineering team members. Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 1-3 years in Engineering/Maintenance operations in a resort or commercial environment. Must have and maintain valid Driver's license. CPO license as required by Resort High school diploma or general education degree GED. The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Follow instructions without close supervision. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
