This is a 2026 summer internship in our Engineering department. The intern will create instructions of use for aircraft passenger systems / installations. The instructions are technical in nature but are to be used by non-technical consumers such as a VIP passenger or cabin crew. This candidate will create multi-media instructions for a new aircraft system. The candidate will apply their experience gained in creating content to organize existing content into re-usable modules. Experience gained: technical writing with layout optimization and aesthetics, multi-media production, project management, data continuity, various authoring software tools. Full-time Description SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES The Biomedical Engineer/Regional Sales team member is responsible for providing support and services to PTCOA locations as well as external clients. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensure the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of biomedical equipment. Provide technical support, repair, and assistance to internal and external clients for biomedical equipment. Delegate project tasks to applicable internal resources and continually monitor and track progress of assigned tasks. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to be shared with management and impacted staff members. Track overall project performance, specifically to ensure the successful and timely completion of short-term and long-term tasks. Meet budgetary objectives of project. Report and escalate issues to Administration as needed. Perform risk management analyses to minimize project risks. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Receive and respond to requests from team members regarding issues and needs at the Company's leased and owned facilities. This includes the responsibility to monitor the Service Desk requests related to facilities/building issues at all leased and owned facilities. The instructions are technical in nature but are to be used by non-technical consumers such as a VIP passenger or cabin crew. This candidate will create multi-media instructions for a new aircraft system. The candidate will apply their experience gained in creating content to organize existing content into re-usable modules. Experience gained: technical writing with layout optimization and aesthetics, multi-media production, project management, data continuity, various authoring software tools.
