Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will get firsthand experience about how we produce steam to drive turbines and generate electricity.
The operation team is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of the boiler steam generation, turbine-generators, demineralized water, compressed air systems, along with all the auxiliary equipment associated with these systems.
RED is also currently involved in the design, specification, and refurbishment of a used, GE Frame 6 Gas Turbine Generator Unit, and Heat Recovery Steam Generator to increase EBP's generation capacity.
Perform routine boiler room, refrigeration and water treatment systems equipment inspections and performance including documentation of operational data, checking, and adjustment of controls on equipment as necessary.
Qualifications:
Currently majoring in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Power Systems Operations, Thermodynamics, or related field.
Eagerness to contribute to our team-oriented environment.
Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license.
Work Environment:
Work will be performed in an industrial setting and expose employees to a variety of weather conditions including hot and cold ambient temperatures. Employee will be required to travel between various buildings and work in plant environment where there are moderate noise levels. Employee would be expected to wear appropriate personal protective equipment for each location and/or task.
Physical Demands:
While performing duties of job, Employee is occasionally required to bend, lift, walk, or carry equipment. May occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.

Perform visual classification and laboratory testing of soil samples collected during the subsurface investigation.
Perform geotechnical field services, which may include subsurface exploration layouts and geophysical surveys.
Prepare subsurface exploration logs for use in geotechnical evaluations and reports.
Requirements
0 - 3 years of progressive experience in the geotechnical field.
Prior experience in a geotechnical laboratory is preferred but not required.
Engineer in Training (EIT) is preferred but not required.
Driver's license required.
Position will require out of town field work based on workload (approximately 20-40%)
Position will require ability to lift 50 pounds.

job purpose: The Engineering Technician for filler is a crucial role within the Engineering Department responsible for ownership of the reliability, improvement and operational expertise across filler & packaging equipment in the Webster facility. They will provide technical solutions and expertise to Operations and Maintenance, to build out and improve the processes and routines across filler & packaging equipment. They will manage and oversee overhaul maintenance, design changes, and standard creation while assisting the team responsible for operational reliability, top loss improvements, and capital projects. This individual will plan, direct, and coordinate team activities including all projects with necessary vendors and in-house resources.
responsibilities:
Acts as a subject matter expert capable of defining operational standards and maintenance practices for filler & packaging equipment.
Optimize machine performance and implement corrective, preventive and predictive actions to minimize downtime.
Enhance operational efficiency by developing and implementing process improvements, leading reliability routines to eliminate machine issues and create/maintain comprehensive documentation (SOPs, PM guidelines, etc.).
Effectively communicates and collaborates with diverse teams (operators, technicians, engineers, vendors) to troubleshoot issues, lead & implement projects, and ensure seamless production flow.
Takes ownership of filler & packaging equipment's OEE, lifecycle, tracking parts, managing inventory, executing preventive maintenance, and leading equipment rebuilds/upgrades to maximize performance.
Leverages data analysis to monitor equipment performance, identify root causes of failures, and implement data-driven improvements to optimize efficiency and quality.
