This position will be closely paired with a senior member of the engineering team to provide mentorship and guidance while performing the duties and responsibilities required to complete the experiments and prototype hardware build activities.
What You'll Do
Review the performance specifications for the payload units
Design tests that will allow data to be captured that covers the range of test scenarios provided by the engineering team
Build the test stations with the support of the engineering team
Execute tests for payloads. Testing may require limited travel to local test sites
Process or reduce the data and work with the engineering team to analyze it
Prepare reports that outline the problem statement, methodology, test execution strategy, and the results
Support the assembly and test of concept designs for validation

Requirements
Undergraduate with college credit earned in a STEM field (engineering, physics, etc.)
Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks or equivalent
Familiarity with standard lab and hand tools
