    Engineering Tech I The purpose of this position is to design and prepare timely, safe and cost-effective natural gas infrastructure improvements including system replacements, relocations due to state, municipal, and private entity construction conflicts, system reinforcements, and system expansions for Virginia Natural Gas. Designs include applicable CAD drawings, permits, and cost estimates for system improvements which may include bridge attachments, railroad crossings and directional bore operations. The incumbent also coordinates customers & requirements with the various departments and other prevailing authorities. Position will reside at the Virginia Natural Gas corporate headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA. Functional Expertise: + Provide quality control of geospatial data and mapping products + Researches facility records in GIS and project as-builts + Draft city, state and railroad right-of-way permits and traffic control plans as required.
