    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented engineering student to join our team as a Solid Waste Engineer Intern for the summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in solid waste management, environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives. The intern will support technical projects, data analysis, and field operations under the guidance of experienced engineers. Duties: • Assist in the design, evaluation, and optimization of solid waste systems including collection, transfer, recycling, and disposal. • Conduct field inspections and site assessments of landfills, transfer stations, and recycling facilities. • Analyze environmental data and prepare technical reports, charts, and presentations. • Support regulatory compliance efforts including permit applications, reporting, and documentation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on sustainability and waste reduction initiatives. • Perform GIS mapping and spatial analysis related to waste infrastructure and service areas. • Participate in stakeholder meetings and contribute to project planning and development.
