The Summer @ Roche Intern Program has been developed to provide students with a fun yet rewarding summer through hands-on experience and numerous opportunities to network with other interns as well as employees in the organization. This internship position is located in Tucson, Arizona (on-site).
The Opportunity
* Learn and apply company concepts, policies, and procedures.
* Hands-on hardware development experience with on-market instruments. Concept generation, testing, and analysis of design solutions to address real problems while satisfying the needs of the business.
* Follows standard engineering practices under the guidance and supervision of experienced engineers.
* Participate in technical assessment reviews and collaborate with team members on various engineering projects.
* Present and discuss data within the group, contributing to team knowledge sharing.

Who you are
Required Education
You meet one of the following criteria:
* Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).

Support plant manager, foreman and superintendents as needed to ensure the success of the operation.

The Effector RF Products Department is seeking current college students for an RF Mechanical internship position. In this role, the candidate would support the development of RF products and technologies including antennas, RF electronics, and supporting test equipment as part of a multi-discipline team. A successful candidate is one with the skillset and passion required to solve complex engineering problems, properly apply engineering tools and processes, and leverage knowledge from previous coursework and projects.
Experience or studies in any of the following areas improve the fit of the candidate for the RF Mechanical internship position: 3D CAD modeling, engineering drawing creation, prototype fabrication, electronics packaging, test fixture design, circuit layout, hardware integration and testing, analysis (e.g. structural or thermal FEA, tolerance analysis, etc.).
All Candidates will work within a larger team at Raytheon. Interns perform meaningful engineering tasks for their assigned projects, and will also have access to a variety of career development opportunities. These include access to technical mentors and the ability to “shadow” experienced professionals in order to learn about real industry positions.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major
This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore standing level by the start of Summer 2026
Experience and/or coursework, project, or internship in one or more of the following areas: manufacturing and design, thermodynamics and heat transfer, vibrations, materials, mechatronics, and/or statics
Qualifications We Prefer
ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
Familiarity with 3D modeling CAD tools, preferably Creo Parametric.
Experience creating engineering drawings.

Caterpillar's Corporate Engineering Intern program seeks students currently enrolled in a four-year university to work alongside engineering professionals to learn and apply themselves to project work within their teams.

Understand requirements of the feature and/or the schematics of the controller / control system, verify functionality and debug/report anomalies to the development team and help validate fixes.
* Engineering Data Analytics: Leverage ability to write and understand computer code, especially Python; apply knowledge of data analytics/data science, machine learning concepts/tools, and engineering and statistics fundamentals.
