Test Engineer Intern:
Join ADI as a Test Engineer Intern and gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies while learning from industry experts. This internship is designed to provide a strong foundation in test engineering through real-world projects and mentorship.
About the Role:
As a Test Engineer Intern, you'll support the development and implementation of testing methodologies for advanced semiconductor products. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to help ensure product quality and reliability across various stages of development and manufacturing.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting test engineers in schematic design, debugging test hardware
Software development to support product qualification, customer sampling, characterization and full production release
Supporting schematic design and circuit documentation
Contributing to the creation of test documentation and reports
Simulating test circuits using LTSpice
Collecting and interpreting data from testers to support analysis and troubleshooting, and processing and analyzing test data using Excel
Entails collaboration with Design, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, and Project Managers across ADI global sites.
Minimum Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (e.g., Electronics Engineering)
Entering Junior year or later
Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, electronics, circuit analysis, and use of bench measurement equipment
Familiarity with tools like LTSpice, Cadence Allegro are a plus, but not required

**Qualifications**
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**
+ Must be willing to travel up to 90% of the time both CONUS & OCONUS (up to 4 months at a time)
+ The ability to obtain a passport within 60 days of being hired
+ Be able to receive a favorable determination from the National Agency Check (NACI)
+ US Citizenship required
+ Must be able to obtain access to all military installations and obtain a CAC (Common Access Card)
+ A valid driver's license and clean driving record
+ A High School Diploma/GED
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in VMS and/or working with server equipment and experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to server rack equipment
+ Minimum 1 year of experience installing rack equipment, cable conveyance, and all peripheral equipment
+ Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and software video management systems and networking devices
+ Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and a cable tester
+ Experience in pulling, dressing, and terminating cable using 568B standard
+ Verbal and written communications skills are essential for interacting with on-site lead, team members, on-site customer, project lead, project engineer and leadership
+ Proficient in basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, required)
+ Ability to perform basic administrative tasks (timekeeping, expense reporting) in a timely manner
+ Be willing to work more than 40 hours/week
+ Be able to work after normal duty hours depending on customer requirements
+ Be able to work in areas with drafts, loud noise, temperature variation/high heat, confined (crawl) spaces, climb dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift up to 50 pounds (without assistance) with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position
+ Work during inclement weather or other adverse conditions
**Additional desired experience and skills:**
+ Experience with Pelco or Genetec or similar Video Management Systems
+ Military background
+ A current OSHA certification
+ A current BISCI certification
+ A current US passport
+ An Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
