As an intern, you will gain exposure to commercial construction through one of three ways: field-focus, project engineer-focus, or a hybrid of the two, based on experience. Field Field interns will work alongside a crew to learn while being in the work. Story provides learning opportunities within steel erection, concrete, and carpentry, depending on the phase of the project. Typically, individuals who are more novice within construction will be assigned to the field internship to lay a solid foundation prior to moving into project management. Qualifications Must be a college student, sophomore, or higher standing, currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in data analytics, data science, computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or related field of study. Must be available June 2026 - August 2026. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the Windows operating environment. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Assist in developing and deploying AI models and solutions under the guidance of senior team members. Collaborate with team members and business groups to understand requirements and support AI-driven projects. Help prepare and preprocess datasets for machine learning and AI model development. Perform basic data exploration, cleaning, and feature engineering using Python and SQL. Support the implementation of machine learning algorithms and AI workflows in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Foundry). Learn and assist in integrating AI models into applications or pipelines for use cases. Conduct simple testing and validation of AI models to ensure accuracy and performance. Document AI development processes, experiments, and results for transparency and learning. Collaborate using Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and Azure DevOps for communication and project organization. Respond to feedback from team members and strive for continuous learning and improvement in AI engineering practices. Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
