Experience with test equipment such as voltmeters, data acquisition systems, calipers, load banks and similar instruments to make manual and automated measurements. Ability to understand and troubleshoot technical systems and their associated communication interfaces. Ability to read and understand mechanical part drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams. Ability to work safely around high-power electronics and batteries. Flexible team player who actively establishes and maintains effective working relationships with company management and co-workers, suppliers, and occasionally with customers. Position Summary The Project Engineer Intern assists the Project Engineer with maintenance and administration functions necessary for successful completion of projects. Processing submittals, expediting deliveries, generating and tracking all administrative documentation and preparing project closeout records. Assist with preparation of budgets, billings and change estimates, buyout and negotiation of subcontractors, monitoring of labor hours and project costs, coordination with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
