The Engine Rebuild Technician/Mechanic is responsible for completing the disassembly and assembly of Caterpillar engines for repairs and/or complete overhaul utilizing reuse and salvage guidelines, in a manner that reflects the company's vision of working as “One Professional Team."
Pay: $34.50 - $50.60 per hourPay is dependent upon education & experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES UNDER MINIMAL SUPERVISION
Uses safe working practices and follows all company safety requirements in preparing, inspecting, and rebuilding of components.
Completes disassembly and assembly of Caterpillar engines for repairs and/or complete overhaul.
Determines most cost-effective repair using Caterpillar reusability guidelines.
Inspection of parts for reuse and salvage, ability to develop complete and accurate repair quotes
Maintains clean organized work area to meet dealership contamination control requirements
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Additional opportunities to learn and rebuild transmissions, torque converters, final drives, wheel stations, differentials, fuel systems, cylinder heads, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, hydraulic hammers, compactors, and other hydraulic attachments according to manufacturer specifications.

About the Role
We are seeking an Information Security Engineering Intern who will be responsible for helping the team build out an open-source (OSINT) threat intelligence platform for Capella. Summary

Fabrication and assembly of prototypes including enclosures, cabinets (UL508a compliant), frames and PCBs. Provide feedback to Engineering on design improvements.
Support development of test fixturing for prototypes, SENS manufacturing or vendor facilities.

Facilitate and support regulatory testing including UL, Seismic, shock and vibration testing.

Provide input on production build and test instructions to ensure products are built and tested correctly every time.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of mechanical and electrical experience as an engineering technician.
Associate's degree in a technical field or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience with a wide range of fabrication techniques including machining, welding, sheet metal forming, 3D printing, CNC programming and CAM.
Excellent understanding of fundamental electronics.
Experience with test equipment such as voltmeters, data acquisition systems, calipers, load banks and similar instruments to make manual and automated measurements.
Ability to understand and troubleshoot technical systems and their associated communication interfaces.
Ability to read and understand mechanical part drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Ability to work safely around high-power electronics and batteries.

Primary Duties - 80%:
Provide customer service for permitting functions consistent with the Weld County Code, policies as well as State and Federal regulations.
Review submitted access permit applications, research area and historical documents, perform data entry and issue permits.
Review and provide referrals related to access items for all appropriate land use and building cases.
Perform on-site inspections for compliance with safety criteria as outlined in the Weld County Code.
Work and communicate (oral and written) effectively and professionally with other staff, outside agencies, construction contractors, and the public.
Secondary Duties - 10%:
Attend meetings and/or hearings, as required, to assist in communicating the criteria set forth in the Weld County Code as related to the Road Access Policy.
Other Duties as Required - 10%:
Follow policies and procedures, the Weld County Code of Conduct and adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and appropriate release of information outlined in both.

Position Summary
The Project Engineer Intern assists the Project Engineer with maintenance and administration functions necessary for successful completion of projects. Processing submittals, expediting deliveries, generating and tracking all administrative documentation and preparing project closeout records. Assist with preparation of budgets, billings and change estimates, buyout and negotiation of subcontractors, monitoring of labor hours and project costs, coordination with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. In-house coordination with field workforce, and estimating, purchasing and accounting departments, and processing accounts payable. Role Responsibilities
Assist with and/or perform the following as delegated by the assigned Project Manager:
Manage contractual agreements with owners, contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, field staff, and within RK's management system.
Ensure daily corporate documentation is completed and up to date, including time cards, daily reports, additional work authorizations, receiving documents, as-built drawings, etc.
Negotiate terms, conditions, and scope of work for contractual agreements issued to RK in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, and estimate bid proposal.
Prepare and distribute initial project budget.
Coordinate and attend RK in-house pre-construction meetings.
Ensure permits and/or licenses are obtained and current for project.

Ensure superintendent's take-offs are complete, accurate and on time.

Responsible for proper/timely processing of shop drawings, product submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, and recording all as-built drawings.

Assist in the development, preparation, and finalization of RK's mechanical construction CPM schedule with input from superintendent(s).

Ensure change orders (CO's) are processed on time and are properly documented.

Responsible for initiating, overseeing, and verifying billings.
Verify that all materials invoiced and work billed has been delivered to and/or completed at job site.
Review and monitor labor costs, hours, and projections with superintendent(s).
Provide monthly and quarterly information to project manager, vice president of operations and vice president of finance, including but not limited to: forecasted estimate on costs required for completion of project, outstanding extra work total costs, and amount that has been performed but un-billed, encountered busts in the bid, and pending claims.
Assist in legal claims as necessary.
Responsible for job closeout being performed in proper and efficient manner and keeping the project manager and vice president of operation informed of closeout status.
Monitor crafts compliance with company/project safety program requirements.
Assist safety manager with preparation, documentation, and distribution of accident reports.
Assist in resolution of conflicts with client, a/e liaison, etc.
Optimize the profitability of the company by demonstrating the ability of a decision maker with reliable and mature judgment.
