Performs a variety of routine maintenance duties for the Engineering Department. Essential Duties And Responsibilities * Provides friendly, fast, and helpful guest service to all guests and team members. * Repairs equipment as necessary and replace broken equipment as needed through the property. * Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times. * Possesses basic knowledge of electricity and electrical components; assists in basic trouble-shooting and repair of all electrical equipment. * Possesses basic knowledge of plumbing and plumbing fixtures and repairs; assists in basic trouble shooting and repair of all plumbing fixtures. * Possesses basic knowledge of carpentry and woodworking; assists in repair and fabrication of woodworking related issues including, but not limited to furniture repair. * Performs any job needed for the repair and maintenance of the property as it relates to the daily function of keeping the property sufficiently safe and operational. * Operates lifts and basic facilities equipment, including but not limited to, hand tools, grinders, power saws, soldering equipment and drills and drill presses. * Performs all work in a consistently safe manner, including the use of personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to, safety gloves, ear protection, and eye protection, safety vests, proper safe use of ladders and basic tools, and chemicals. Back wash pump and replenish DE on a monthly basis. * Replaces or repairs pool and spa jets, pipes, fittings, drains, flush valves, and shut off valves. * Repairs broken pool tile as needed. * Performs other duties as assigned.
