The Engineer, Compute System Engineering is responsible for the implementation and support of compute based infrastructure, including public, private and hybrid cloud deployment models to support critical healthcare operations across The Guthrie Clinic (TGC). This role ensures high availability and performance for clinical systems, patient care services, and administrative functions across the network. The Engineer collaborates with IT teams, vendors, and hospital stakeholders to align server infrastructure with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This position will be a technology advocate throughout the organization for the effective application of technology to meet business needs and to support business changes and growth.
Technology functions include cloud computing, database, storage, data protection, virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure, server automation, monitoring and application delivery.
Experience:
Preferred three to five (3 to 5) years of experience in implementing and managing Windows and Open Systems server infrastructure hybrid cloud solutions in an enterprise environment; healthcare experience preferred.
Highly experienced information systems professional with a strong technical background and proven track record of accomplishments in a large, complex multi-level organization .
Strong technical knowledge of VMWare ESX and Microsoft Hyper-V.
Expertise in Microsoft Windows, Linux and AIX operating systems and management.
Familiar with hyperconverged infrastructures such as VxRail.

Essential Functions:
Responsible for installation and maintenance of server infrastructure along with upgrading/configuration and the life cycle management of hardware.
Monitors functions of server infrastructure to ensure acceptable performance.
Creates and maintains documentation related to server configuration and environments.

This position at Crux Subsurface will be involved in a variety of shallow and deep foundation construction projects, emphasizing design-build delivery methods for electrical transmission and distribution projects. The Field Quality Engineer Intern will interface with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of engineering and construction management personnel. Pennsylvania Sea Grant's statewide reach includes three diverse coastal regions: the Lake Erie, Susquehanna River, and Delaware River watersheds. Environmental literacy and workforce development (ELWD) is an educational priority across these distinct watersheds and is fostered via educator professional development programs, adult and youth education initiatives, print and online resources, opportunities for college and university students, and community education events. Use and maintain process simulation and modeling tools to support internal departments.

This role offers flexibility and ensures collaboration and engagement with our on-site team. This position will report to a Project Manager. This is an on-call or part-time seasonal position.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support Project Managers with appropriate research information in order to respond to project documentation requirements.
Ensure requirements of CEQA and NEPA are met by completing analysis and documentation within specific guidelines.
Gain practical knowledge of the environmental consulting industry.
Provide assistance to Project Managers in the preparation, organization, and production of EIRs.
Incorporate sub-consultant reports and personal research and knowledge into appropriate sections of environmental documents.
Communicate with various jurisdictions, agencies, and sub-consultants to collect and verify information.
Conduct field studies and land use surveys.
Skills

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (In-process) in environmental sciences, Planning, Geography, or a related field
At least 1 year of experience in Environmental Services (or coursework)
General understanding of the principles and practices of the environmental consulting industry, including CEQA and/or NEPA and their processing requirements
Technical competence and understanding of one or more environmental specialties, such as land use, socio-economics, earth resources, hydrology, air, noise, etc.

Required:
This Internship program is designed for students who have achieved a GPA of 2.8 and offers them the opportunity to learn and be mentored by a GCI manager/supervisor.
Must be actively enrolled in High School at a junior or senior level or college student.
Must be at least 14 years of age. Must adhere to and meet conditions per Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development Sec.23.10.325 - 23.10.370 and Title 8 Chapter 05 of Child Labor for minors 14 to 15 years of age rules and guidelines.
Preferred:
Familiarity with the telecommunications industry.
Some computer (IT) and/ or cellular phone experience.
Telecom industry specific certifications and/or job specific certifications.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
This position may require access to reliable transportation for occasional travel between retail store locations, offices, worksites, or other locations as needed.
