Position Responsibilities:
Support the development of air vehicle requirements for aeroelasticity including flutter, divergence, freeplay and rigidity
Collaborate with the airframe & subsystems design and analysis engineers to generate integrated aero and structural models for flight vehicle analysis consistent with a Model Based Engineering (MBE) environment
Perform and lead analysis for flutter, divergence, aeroservoelasticity, freeplay and rigidity to support air vehicle design and stores integration
Define allowable flight envelopes and operational limits
Support the development of flight flutter test and ground vibration test plans
Create finite element models and correlate to test results
Perform ground and/or flight test programs, by the development of test requirements, providing data for pre-test analysis, monitoring testing, data analysis and documenting results, in order to support design and verification of vehicle and components
Provide data to support the definition and documentation of structural design requirements for the service life of the product, to ensure company, customer and regulatory requirements are met
Present engineering data and results to management and customers during program level reviews and other technical meeting
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

Work with Controls Engineers to make sure no errors exist in the PLC program.

Install the system ‘image' and setup communications to the system control components.
Debug the interface screens to verify interface with the PLC and other control components.
Show programs written in C# in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Assemble programs and install them on Bradbury HMIs.
Develop operator interface graphical interface modules to interface the operator to the machine control.
Discuss the usage of the SQL database and how data can be imported and exported to and from a customer's production data or the Bradbury TSC part download software.
Show and explain PLC logic written in Rockwell Automation's RSLogix Studio platform.
Demonstrate the ladder logic created to operate on an AB Logix PLC that is reading sensor, switch, and position data and activating motor, valve, and indicator outputs based on a sequence of events or basic IF, AND, OR logic.

Job Description
Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water services, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As a summer 2026 engineering student intern with our Water Resources team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You will work closely with other team members and engineers on client projects related to hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control, floodplain management, and scour and erosion control. You'll provide project design utilizing AutoCAD and GIS/ArcMap. You'll assist with performing technical analysis, preparing construction documents, performing research, and writing technical reports. Depending on the projects, you may also have the opportunity to travel to job sites for field observation.
