Test Engineer Intern:
Join ADI as a Test Engineer Intern and gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies while learning from industry experts. This internship is designed to provide a strong foundation in test engineering through real-world projects and mentorship.
About the Role:
As a Test Engineer Intern, you'll support the development and implementation of testing methodologies for advanced semiconductor products. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to help ensure product quality and reliability across various stages of development and manufacturing.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting test engineers in schematic design, debugging test hardware
Software development to support product qualification, customer sampling, characterization and full production release
Supporting schematic design and circuit documentation
Contributing to the creation of test documentation and reports
Simulating test circuits using LTSpice
Collecting and interpreting data from testers to support analysis and troubleshooting, and processing and analyzing test data using Excel
Entails collaboration with Design, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, and Project Managers across ADI global sites.
Minimum Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (e.g., Electronics Engineering)
Entering Junior year or later
Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, electronics, circuit analysis, and use of bench measurement equipment
Familiarity with tools like LTSpice, Cadence Allegro are a plus, but not required

* Works with the team and is advised on ways to resolve technical/physical issues often requiring coordination with other disciplines: networking, facilities, HVAC, electrical, security, etc.
* Conducts and documents PITCO activities as instructed.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Associate degree, technical certification and/or a minimum of three (3) years' related experience supporting cabling, equipment and IT Network System Installation. Minimum three (3) years of troubleshooting and repairing systems. Minimum three (3) years' experience in using Microsoft office and other AV software programs; or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Monitors coordination/approval process for converting work requests into contract projects to include validating proper work classification during programming, design, and construction to ensure statutory project approval is obtained from the correct approval authority.
Implements metrics and analyzes systems/processes to ensure actions are efficient, timely, and reviewed at critical points.
Develop, plan, and ensure customer proponents justify capital improvement projects for USAFA facilities.
Performs self-inspection in accordance with Air Force inspection criteria and prepares/presents detailed and comprehensive reports with any corrective action taken to the Portfolio Optimization Manager.
Follows-up to ensure complete and quality resolution of discrepancies.

Requirements:
2-5 years of experience working in Air Force Civil Engineering organizations or other military Services (Army, Navy, Coast Guard) Department of Public Works organizations providing programming, design, and/or construction documentation is preferred.

Scope of Work:
Primary purpose of this position is to perform updates to the Air Forces NexGen asset management database and produce reports as required, and performs cost estimates for Capital projects.
Responsibilities:
3 years of Air Force Programming Experience
Assists Programmer in Civil Engineering in complying with legal and regulatory requirements when finical programming MILCON, SRM O&M, Medical and NAF facility projects including preparing DD Form 1391s, Military Construction Project Data. Researches, interprets, analyzes, and applies proper Air Force Instructions (AFIs), especially AFI 32-1020, Planning and Programming Built Infrastructure Projects, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC's), U.S. Code, guidelines, pamphlets, policies, letters, when finically programming facility and infrastructure projects.
Monitors coordination/approval process for converting work requests into contract projects to include validating proper work classification during programming, design, and construction to ensure statutory project approval is obtained from the correct approval authority.
Implements metrics and analyzes systems/processes to ensure actions are efficient, timely, and reviewed at critical points.
Develop, plan, and ensure customer proponents justify capital improvement projects for USAFA facilities.
Performs self-inspection in accordance with Air Force inspection criteria and prepares/presents detailed and comprehensive reports with any corrective action taken to the Portfolio Optimization Manager.
Follows-up to ensure complete and quality resolution of discrepancies.
Implement tracking procedures for all taskings and packages being coordinated.
Ensures customer facility and infrastructure requirements are converted into facility projects that are properly documented, prioritized, authorized, approved, and funded (this is called “programming”) in accordance with all laws, policies, and regulations.
This includes multiple facility funding sources such as Military Construction (MILCON), Sustainment, Restoration & Modernization (SRM) Operation and Maintenance (O&M), Medical, Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) and Demolition.
Maintains information in the NexGen asset management database and helps prepare presentations for and responses to installation leadership on facility project programs.
Helps prepare initial planning cost estimates using parametric cost estimating tools for facilities and infrastructure maintenance, repair, and construction projects.
Responsible for long, mid, and short-range project planning of tasks, providing day-to-day task management of subordinate programmers, and ensuring timely completion of tasks to meet all AF Civil Engineer Center, USAFA Staff, and internal program deadlines.
Trains subordinates, project managers, other team members, and appropriate government personnel as appropriate on complex statutory driven programming requirements including NexGen asset management database, programming processes and procedures, document submittals, design reviews, executive secretariat responsibilities for running wing commander chaired Installation Facilities Board, other required meetings and AF required filing structure.
Authorized to directly coordinate finical programming actions with government counterparts to ensure synchronized work efforts in building 5-year facility priority lists including planning, design, and construction projects. Responsible for daily task management of subordinate programmers.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience working in Air Force Civil Engineering organizations or other military Services (Army, Navy, Coast Guard) Department of Public Works organizations providing programming, design, and/or construction documentation is preferred.
Knowledge of the Civil Engineering and Air Force funding processes and funding sources including MILCON, O&M (SRM) and NAF. NAF funding includes privately funded and donor funded projects.
Have a basic knowledge of Geo-base and proficiency with Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc).
Familiarity with Parametric Cost Engineering System (PACES) estimating software is strongly desired.
BS degree in Architecture or Engineering from ABET accredited university program preferred.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time.
Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* The Engineering Technician will provide support for cabling, equipment and C4ISR system installations.
* Pulls, terminates and dresses Category 6A and Fiber Optic cabling. Installs and documents IT equipment, cable conveyance, antennas and supporting systems.
* Support teammates to help the team meets required technical abilities.
* Contributes to all phases of the AV and IT infrastructure installation or upgrade.
* Pulls and dresses fiber optic and Category 6A copper cables.
* Installs of racks/cabinets/credenzas and all peripheral equipment.
* Racks and stacks of equipment in racks/credenzas.
* Terminates copper cable up to CAT6A and SM/MM Fiber single strand to MPO/MTP.
* Helps to solve issues related to cables and networks with minimal oversite
* Tests and documents of all cables.
* Installs of Thinklogical, Extron and Creston AV Matrix Routing and Extension Solutions.
* Installs per a SIPH standard IDP, adapt/troubleshoot/modify where necessary, and provides
* redlines back to an AutoCAD drafter for As-built updates.
* Helps team to resolve technical/physical issues often requiring coordination with other disciplines: networking, facilities, HVAC, electrical, security, etc.
* Conducts and documents PITCO activities.
* Performs with guidance and/or instruction assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed.
* Adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents per instruction of team leads
* Receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from team lead, supervisor, engineer as needed and is able to implement instruction with minimal oversite. Work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions.
* Provides support in the demolition and disposal of current powers system equipment under supervision of electrician maintenance.
* Conducts performance tests of IT and AV systems.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Associate degree, technical certification and/or a minimum of five (5) years' related experience supporting cabling, equipment and IT Network System Installation. Minimum five (5) years of troubleshooting and repairing systems. Minimum five (5) years' experience in using Microsoft office and other AV software programs; or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Scope of Work:
Primary purpose of this position is to perform updates to the Air Forces NexGen asset management database and produce reports as required, and performs cost estimates for Capital projects.
Responsibilities:
* 3 years of Air Force Programming Experience
* Assists Programmer in Civil Engineering in complying with legal and regulatory requirements when finical programming MILCON, SRM O&M, Medical and NAF facility projects including preparing DD Form 1391s, Military Construction Project Data. Researches, interprets, analyzes, and applies proper Air Force Instructions (AFIs), especially AFI 32-1020, Planning and Programming Built Infrastructure Projects, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC's), U.S. Code, guidelines, pamphlets, policies, letters, when finically programming facility and infrastructure projects.
* Monitors coordination/approval process for converting work requests into contract projects to include validating proper work classification during programming, design, and construction to ensure statutory project approval is obtained from the correct approval authority.
* Implements metrics and analyzes systems/processes to ensure actions are efficient, timely, and reviewed at critical points.
* Develop, plan, and ensure customer proponents justify capital improvement projects for USAFA facilities.
* Performs self-inspection in accordance with Air Force inspection criteria and prepares/presents detailed and comprehensive reports with any corrective action taken to the Portfolio Optimization Manager.
* Follows-up to ensure complete and quality resolution of discrepancies.
* Implement tracking procedures for all taskings and packages being coordinated.
* Ensures customer facility and infrastructure requirements are converted into facility projects that are properly documented, prioritized, authorized, approved, and funded (this is called "programming") in accordance with all laws, policies, and regulations.

* Responsible for long, mid, and short-range project planning of tasks, providing day-to-day task management of subordinate programmers, and ensuring timely completion of tasks to meet all AF Civil Engineer Center, USAFA Staff, and internal program deadlines.
* Trains subordinates, project managers, other team members, and appropriate government personnel as appropriate on complex statutory driven programming requirements including NexGen asset management database, programming processes and procedures, document submittals, design reviews, executive secretariat responsibilities for running wing commander chaired Installation Facilities Board, other required meetings and AF required filing structure.
* Authorized to directly coordinate finical programming actions with government counterparts to ensure synchronized work efforts in building 5-year facility priority lists including planning, design, and construction projects. Responsible for daily task management of subordinate programmers.

Requirements:
* 2-5 years of experience working in Air Force Civil Engineering organizations or other military Services (Army, Navy, Coast Guard) Department of Public Works organizations providing programming, design, and/or construction documentation is preferred.
* Knowledge of the Civil Engineering and Air Force funding processes and funding sources including MILCON, O&M (SRM) and NAF. NAF funding includes privately funded and donor funded projects.
* Have a basic knowledge of Geo-base and proficiency with Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc).
* Familiarity with Parametric Cost Engineering System (PACES) estimating software is strongly desired.
* BS degree in Architecture or Engineering from ABET accredited university program preferred.
