To be a qualified individual, an employee must be able to perform each of the essential functions of his or her job with or without a reasonable accommodation. * Assist with Data Pipelines: Help design, test, and maintain basic data pipelines that move and clean data for reporting and analytics. * Work with Data Sets: Support the preparation and curation of medallion data sets (bronze, silver, gold layers) in Microsoft Fabric. * Analytics Support: Collaborate with team members to ensure data is accurate and usable in dashboards, reports, and analysis. * Data Quality: Assist with identifying and fixing data quality issues, such as missing values or inconsistent formats. * Data Science Exposure: * Help prepare training datasets for machine learning projects. * Experiment with Python notebooks to explore data and build small models (e.g., classification, clustering). * Learn how data engineering supports AI/ML workflows. * Visualization: Contribute to Power BI dashboards or simple visualizations that highlight business insights. * Documentation: Document data pipelines, processes, and findings in a way that can be shared with the broader team. * Collaboration: Work with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to support project deliverables. * Travel to Company and subsidiary offices; offsite client, subcontractor, and supplier meetings; and other locations across North America to fulfill the essential duties of the role as required. * Regular and reliable attendance in person as required by your Supervisor, Company guidelines, and/or project and office obligations. Additional Duties and Responsibilities * Models and reinforces safety as a top priority of the organization. This is a critical role in the OPEX(Operational Excellence) Team at the Site and will report into the Site Operational Excellence Manager. This role is fundamental in executing the Continuous Improvement Plans for the Site, to achieve its growth and profitability objectives. Support the execution of Fit for Growth (F4G) projects, assisting with data gathering, documentation, and coordination across teams.
