As the Operations Engineering Summer Intern, here's the work you'll do:
* Will prepare and update operator procedures for the shop floor.
* Address daily production related issues on shop floor.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects.
* Maintain direct labor standards.
* Maintain process layouts.
This role is for you if you have these skills:
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
* Ability to handle multiple duties simultaneously. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
* Knowledge in Word, Access, Excel, AutoCAD, Outlook and other software programs as needed.
* Ability to prepare well written procedures and technical reports.

* Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field; prefer IE or ME
* Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship
* Great attitude and team player.
* Successful completion of background and drug screening process.

Compensation and Benefits
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $22.00/hr - $24.00/hr.
