Position Summary
Entry level position in manufacturing engineering as part of our manufacturing training and development program. This position will provide an excellent developmental opportunity in operations and manufacturing combined with practical hands on projects contributing directly to the performance and success of the company. Develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. Drives product and process changes to reduce cost and lead time and improve quality and delivery. Position will include a mentorship.
Responsibilities
Support manufacturing production processes with all required technical needs.
Develop and improve manufacturing processes by deploying product and manufacturing method enhancements.
Determine product and process manufacturing flow and sequences, material and labor requirements, and quality inspection points.
Create and maintain manufacturing routers and processes
Must be able and willing to work extra time as necessary to ensure completion of assigned tasks
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology
Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position.

General Summary
This position is responsible for providing plant oversight for cost and engineering activities that facilitates the efficient progress of plant operations and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.
Essential Job Accountabilities
Determine and calculate production quantities and communicate to management to ensure their understanding of our cost to produce.
Prepare, implement and test SWPPP's, hazardous materials plans, in conjunction with the Environmental Department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Perform operational improvement studies and recommend improvement or process modifications to ensure the most efficient operations are implemented.
Conduct and/or participate in safety audits and meetings to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Prepare and prioritize maintenance and repairs of material processing equipment to ensure cost efficient maintenance schedules. Manage spare parts inventories so crews can make efficient repairs.
Perform semi-annual inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Support plant manager, foreman and superintendents as needed to ensure the success of the operation.

These duties include using reverse engineering skills to identify problems when equipment malfunctions and devising solutions to revive equipment to working order.
* Assist with data collection and analysis, guided by principles of physics and bio signal processing related to whole-body and limb mechanics in human and animal movement studies. Compile information and materials that support statistical analyses, manuscripts, and grant applications.
* Support the ordering of supplies, routine maintenance, and care of laboratory animals (e.g., birds). Collaborate with University Animal Care to provide appropriate enrichment, including helping construct and install custom ramps, perches, and foraging structures.
* The applicant will be provided opportunities to expand the lab capabilities through new data capture methods, sensors, and other instrumentation methods.

Minimum Qualifications
