Job Responsibilities
This is a off-shift position. Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
Assist to develop manufacturing processes, work instructions and production layouts required to fabricate the product.
Identify process improvements, capture feedback from Operations and incorporate changes into the manufacturing process.
Respond to technical production issues associated with the product being fabricated.
Work with maintenance staff to troubleshoot and repair production specific equipment.
Assist in establishing safety requirements for facilities and equipment.
Work in a multifunctional team to solve production related issues.
Work with Quality and Product Engineering to quickly and efficiently resolve MRB items.
Analyze processes and equipment for process capabilities and downtime.
Analyze yield and scrap rate data to aid in improving processes.
Determine root cause and corrective actions for discrepancies.
Work as part of an Integrated Product Team to support both internal and external customers.
Basic Qualifications (Engineering Tech 3)
High School Diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of additional related education or experience.
Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing and production processes.
Ability to interpret 2D drawings.
Computer skills must include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with external customers and all plant personnel.
Comfortable making presentations in front of peers and senior leadership.
U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of composites fabrication processing including wet filament winding, hand layup, bonding, vacuum bagging and autoclave curing.

Primary Level Salary Range: $55,800.00 - $93,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
