Required Qualifications:
* A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline. Experience is the most relevant factor.
* 6+ years of progressive and direct experience in ServiceNow platform development, including custom and scoped application development, configuration management, use of ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, update set management, business rules, Script Includes, UI Policies/Actions, REST and SOAP API integrations, and platform administration. Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript (server- and client-side scripting) and strong knowledge of platform security and access controls.
* 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams, overseeing code reviews, advancing automation and DevOps practices, and managing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solution delivery.
* 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, with working knowledge and hands-on exposure to GenAI technologies.
* Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), and other relevant ServiceNow certifications.
* Prior software engineering experience with the understanding of Business Context Diagrams (BCD), sequence/activity/state/entity relationship/data flow diagrams, OOP/OOD, data structures, algorithms, and code instrumentation.
* Prior experience using methodologies and tools such as XP, Lean, DevSecOps, SRE, ADO, GitHub, SonarQube, etc. to deliver high-quality solutions rapidly.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,700 to $221,200.

As the **Project Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater** , you will manage execution of the engineering component of multiple traditional, design-build, design-bid-build, and collaborative delivery projects including advanced treatment facilities, underground conveyance, and carbon neutral solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

**Key Responsibilities**
**Project Execution:**
+ Prepare complex engineering deliverables for large or multiple projects
+ Assist in the research to develop equipment and material recommendations
+ Prepare complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles
+ Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines
+ Lead production teams, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a project
**Client Interface:**
+ Identify key client interests and drivers for moderately complex projects
+ Communicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutions
+ Provide support for business development or pursuit activities
+ Manage project changes directly with the client under Project Manager supervision
**Technical expertise:**
+ Lead large multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverables
+ Provide input to technical leadership for complex water and wastewater treatment projects
+ Drive solutions to achieve project goals
**Management Responsibilities:**
+ Reviews lower-level engineering work or assignments
+ Mentoring, and performance management of assigned personnel
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ PE license.
+ Previous engineering consulting experience.
+ Experience executing multi-discipline WTP and WWTP upgrades and expansion projects.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
+ Minimum of 5 years related work experience
+ All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
**Work Environment/Physical Demands**
+ Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments
+ Sitting/standing/computer usage for extended periods of time
+ Ability to utilize video/audio conferencing software tools for internal/external communication
+ Travel to client sites
