The position oversees the day-to-day process engineering function including managing short- and long-term projects related to process safety, quality improvement, new product introduction, and product & process equipment validation. * Executes engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost. * Liaises with other stakeholders to provide professional support and advice. * Leads and manages a team of process engineers to implement projects and improvements in the area of responsibility. * Monitors KPIs for engineering processes and drives continuous performance improvement. * Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise. * Acts as a member of site leadership team. What makes you a good fit * Education - BS or MS degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. * Experience - Minimum 8 years' experience in chemical manufacturing industry, or equivalent relevant experience. * Special skills - SAP knowledge preferred, excellent project management, leadership, people management & communication skills. * Certifications and licenses - Six Sigma certification preferred. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.
