A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
Capital Plan & Project Leadership- Plan, design, and execute, capital projects in line with facility's strategic plan, ensuring projects meet objectives, budgets, and timelines, leveraging both internal and third party resources Develop and own long-term capital master plan for the site.
Team Development & Leadership - Lead and develop a diverse reliability maintenance team including supervisors, planner, stores clerk, multi-skilled mechanics, and electricians, while enabling upskilling and performance excellence.
Lean Manufacturing & Innovation - Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, eliminate waste, and introduce next-generation automation solutions. Lead our Technical Center of Excellence at the site level, while collaborating with corporate engineering resources to implement best practices from across the network and progress our site to the next phase in our lean journey.
Strategic Planning & Scorecard Ownership - Represent maintenance and engineering in the site's strategic plans. Partner with Corporate Engineering to align technical strategies with plant goals and lead the Technical Center of Excellence to achieve key performance indicators.
Driving Maintenance Reliability - Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to increase equipment reliability while managing the maintenance parts budget for optimal performance. Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of planned and predictive maintenance activities, using root cause analysis and problem-solving to mitigate issues.
We're Looking for Someone With
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Demonstrated leadership in plant maintenance or equipment reliability within manufacturing, with a track record of driving operational excellence
Experience managing large teams of both salaried and hourly employees
Proven expertise in maintenance systems (e.g., CMMS), budgeting, and implementation of TPM, RCM, BDE, FMEA, and predictive/preventive maintenance strategies
Proven capital project management and budgeting skills
Strong stakeholder relationship-building capabilities
Compensation
The annual salary range is $109,280 - $143,430 which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.

Summary:

· Develop, implement, and maintain standardized test protocols to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
· Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards, including UL, DOE, EPA, ENERGY STAR, ASHRAE, and other relevant certifications.
· Collaborate with product development, controls, and compliance teams to provide engineering data supporting design improvements and new product development.
· Oversee test setup design, instrumentation configuration, data acquisition systems, and calibration of laboratory equipment.

Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or a related field required; Masters degree preferred
· Minimum of 7 years of experience in refrigeration or ice machine system design, testing, or laboratory management
· Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and refrigeration cycle principles
· Hands-on experience with test setup design, instrumentation, and engineering data analysis
· Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including UL 60335, DOE efficiency standards, and EPA refrigerant regulations
· Experience with automated controls, data acquisition systems, and compliance documentation
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
· Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Preferred Experience:
· Experience in commercial refrigeration or ice machine manufacturing
· Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives in refrigeration design

The role
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Sr. Program Manager, Production & Engineering Change to lead our efforts in driving engineering change management and program execution across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for overseeing cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with customers and internal requirements, and delivering programs on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do

Chair Change Authorization & Implementation meetings and ensure timely execution of approved changes.

Technical & Operational Leadership: Oversee content development, manufacturing requirements, cost analysis, design compliance, tooling and equipment, material sourcing, program contracts, timing, resource allocation, and facilities planning. Ensure overall quality of design PDP deliverables to operating divisions. Promote coordination between manufacturing and product engineering in design control activities.
Customer & Executive Engagement: Facilitate program and phase reviews. Lead resolution of key customer concerns. Support executive-level interactions with customers, plants, and internal stakeholders. Be actively engaged and, as required, serve as the single point of contact or liaison for the customer on Engineering Changes, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the process.
Team Leadership & Development: Provide direction, coaching, and mentorship to team members. Promote cross-functional collaboration and resolve escalated program issues.
Safety, Compliance & Administrative: Initiate and approve purchase requisitions for contracted work. Document all activities as required and adhere to company safety and emergency guidelines. Ensure safety remains the number one priority by fostering a culture of safety and leading by example in all actions and decisions. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Who you are
Bachelor's degree in business or technical engineering discipline, with a preference for Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of program management experience in an automotive manufacturing or engineering environment.
Experience working with GM and Ford, including familiarity with their internal change management systems and processes.
Proficient in PC applications for cost tracking, budgeting, and spreadsheet analysis.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyze cost impacts, and support data-driven decisions.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven track record of leading project teams and managing cross-functional initiatives.
Demonstrated ability in problem-solving, business decision-making, and delivering effective presentations.
