Reporting to the SVP of Engineering you'll lead a team of transportation and warehouse engineers responsible for T&W projects across 40+ internal plants and external company owned warehouse to deliver automation and network optimization to deliver Conagra's T&W strategy and cost optimization.
You'll originate strategy for material handling systems to ensure reliable operation and develop warehouse studies to determine requirements and improvement opportunities. Work with the logistics and warehouse operations teams to align team priorities and project solutions. Position Responsibilities

A Brief Summary of This Position:
The Manager, Data Products & Engineering will be a hands-on and business-savvy data leader managing the development of data products and platforms that drive strategic insights and operational efficiency. This role will lead a team of data engineers, analysts, and ML engineers to build scalable data solutions, deliver impactful analytics, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Essential Functions:
Lead the design and delivery of data products that support business goals and customer needs.
Collaborate with product, business, and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
Architect and manage data pipelines, data models, and analytics platforms using tools like Databricks, SQL, and Python.
Drive the development of dashboards, ML models, and self-service analytics for business stakeholders.

Mentor and manage a cross-functional team of data professionals.
Reports to the Director, Software & Data Engineering and will have direct reports.
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate:
Bachelor's degree is preferred with 10+ years of experience, or Associate's degree with 12+ years.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or machine learning, including at least 2 years in leadership or product-focused role.
Strong hands-on proficiency in SQL, Python, and Databricks.
Design and optimize scalable data pipelines using Databricks notebooks and Delta Lake for both batch and streaming data processing.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Skilled in designing and managing data pipelines, data models, and analytics platforms.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices, DevOps for data, and version control tools like GitHub or Azure DevOps.
Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:
Understanding MLOps and deploying ML models in production environments.
Experience with model monitoring, retraining, and performance tracking to ensure ML models remain accurate and relevant in production.
Familiarity with ML lifecycle tools and platforms such as MLflow, SageMaker, or Azure ML for managing experiments, deployments, and versioning.

Responsibilities

Lead internal and external project risk reviews and consult with the Legal Department as required.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited curriculum.
Minimum 7 years related experience (15 preferred), including 5 or more years in the development of or management of rail engineering or architectural projects.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) strongly preferred.
Experience managing rail industrial development design-build projects preferred.
Ability to work with existing and new clients to identify new projects, articulate to the clients our ability to perform those projects, and translate that into the sale of consulting services.
Ability to lead multi-discipline teams of engineers.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and presentation skills.
Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines while managing multiple projects concurrently, including identification of critical path items to ensure deliverable deadlines are met.
Ability to focus on the big picture to effectively and efficiently provide services that meet client needs, while also having the ability to identify and analyze details that are critical to project outcomes.
Willingness to learn new service offerings as client needs and the market requires changes to the service offerings provided by our group.
Willingness and ability to develop a broad set of service offering types to allow for flexibility to sell work in growing markets.
Willingness to cross-sell other services offered by our company outside the project manager's core set of services.
