Including completion of project specific documentation, including installation drawings, SOP's, risk assessment/HAZOPs, PSSR/commissioning procedures, customer presentations/progress reports, turnover manual, Lessons Learned/project close-out reports, etc.
* Collaborative and proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards. - Supervise contractors and vendors complying with all Linde Golden Rule and appropriate safety requirements
* Focus on best practices related to capital equipment cost savings, reduced maintenance costs, and enhanced system reliability.

Additional Accountabilities:
* The Engineering Manager must recruit, hire and develop personnel to form a high performance team that maximizes productivity and ensures highest levels of safety and quality.
* Excellent organizational and project management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Authorize plant and maintenance purchases up to $10,000.00.
* Identifies opportunities for standardization. Creates opportunities for sharing best practices, and leverages knowledge within and between the RBU N.A. and BA Electronics through development of fully documented standard designs. Key contributor to the department's standardization objectives for electronics operations.
* Support corporate and division goals for GAP/HPO and productivity gains.
* Identify potential GAP/HPO projects at E&SG plants which have the ability to create cost savings and/or increases in productivity.
* Develop project IO's in accordance with company accounting procedures. Track project budget throughout project and close in accordance with company accounting procedures.
* Perform and/or support the design of gas systems, including development of Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, BOM's, and fabrication drawings.
* Manage assigned projects, involving multiple team members, where opportunities for improvement exist in efficiency, capacities, safety, yield, etc.
* Implement, without delay, necessary changes to achieve desired results in compliance with all quality and safety guidelines.
* Provide engineering and operational support to the plant, including the production, manufacturing, analytical, and cylinder preparation departments.

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Chemical preferred
* 5 years of experience in high purity gas manufacture and processing
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Working knowledge and experience with applicable NFPA codes and CGA guidelines
* Actively and visibly supports culture of collaborative safety and health in the workplace
* Demonstrated commitment to high level of operational discipline and compliance to standard work procedures
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and AutoCAD
