Responsibilities: * Comprehend the impact that building systems have on the workplace experience for occupants and works collaboratively with complementary positions within the organization to positively influence an optimal workplace environment. * Responsible for the implementation, management, scheduling and planning activities that promote the maintenance, efficiency, and reliability of the assets in the facility while focusing on the facility "well-being" and building population comfort. * Responsible for providing direction and oversight of the engineering team in support of the Client as they develop guaranteed energy efficiency projects, renewable energy projects, and other energy savings related capital improvement projects. * Based on client's budget constraints for any specific project, conducting value engineering studies. * Initiate and support energy conservation measures, including performing energy audits in concert with ensuring energy engineering project deliverables are completed on schedule. * Standardize the use of root cause analysis for deficiencies to promote progressive and proactive teaching and learning moments. * Responsible for strict compliance of the Able/ABM/IMF contractual agreement and Statement of Work. * Develop a strong client relationship that is based on integrity, professionalism, respect, responsiveness / urgency, and quality performance. * Strong knowledge of local building codes * Develop, track and report on KPIs that support the management of contractual targets, quality performance, workload balancing and other critical elements of the program as it relates to Hard Services responsibilities. * Demonstrates knowledge of building systems, especially mechanical, electrical, and plumbing * Promote the use of the energy management and building automation systems for monitoring, initiating, managing, and reporting on energy efficiency measures and building operating systems optimization. * Demonstrates good analytical skills, inquisitive and interrogates disparate sources of data and correlative metrics to uncover unfavorable trends in performance and recommend continuous improvement opportunities. * Provide capital and operational project support which include but not limited to design reviews and recommendations on equipment selection, functional applications, and technology solutions. * Collaborate with the IMF and Engineering teams to identify, introduce, and implement industry best practices and innovation. Job Specifications: * Minimum of Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering * Minimum of 10+ years' maintenance field experience, and 4-5 years working knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance and other maintenance management strategies * Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Certified Plant Engineer (CPE) or other similar accreditations preferred * Strong knowledge of OSHA regulatory requirements * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, verbal / written communication skills, planning / scheduling, problem solving, project management experience, and proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate and follow up * Proficiency in MS Office Suite (spreadsheet, word processing, project, etc.) * Advanced Excel skills and other analytical applications desirable * Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management System & Energy Management System programs, specialty predictive equipment, and other equipment and tools to perform the tasks outlined in the . * Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required. $140,000 - $175,000 a year Pay: $140K - $175K The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
