As a member of the IT Service Management team, you play a key role to ensure the availability of all IT services delivered and supported by the IT department, by handling and coordinating communications of incidents and service requests, supporting their resolution, and contributing to the documentation and codification of knowledge captured during the process.

Learning as part of work: We dedicate our Friday to learning, we call it Playday. Engineers use this day to explore technology, read a book, or invent something. We have informal and formal forums running every 1 to 2 weeks for the Engineering team and IT team members to look into the emerging industry landscape, discuss opportunities, and address issues we face.

Accountability & ResponsibilityAct as the primary point of contact for monitoring, responding, and owning the end-to-end resolution & experience of service requests and incidents. You address their requests with clarity and provide a communication channel between other service management functions and the Rocketeers.Uphold ITIL & ITSM practices in capturing change & service requests, guiding and monitoring the adherence of procedures when Rocketeers interact with service desks, maintaining third-party support contracts, managing software licenses, assisting with problem management, etc.Assume ownership to investigate, coordinate and resolve incidents and manage future problems, through documentation, process improvement, and other risk mitigation efforts. You ensure the resolution occurs within SLA, and the FRT and MTTR can be incrementally reduced.Be detail- and result-oriented yet not losing sight of long-term improvement. Be efficient in performing the initial level of problem identification and attempt to resolve it whenever appropriate. Be proactive in documenting timeline, events, efforts, and interactions to keep all parties informed, and codify the knowledge as KB articles or for process improvement and automation.Build process drives outcome, by calling out inefficiencies in the business process and drives improvement based on Metrics that Matters to achieve desired results.

RequirementsPatience. Patience is needed when you work with confused or frustrated Rocketeers, be an active listener, empathetic, and responsible with their problems. Sense of urgency, by knowing the difference between issues that need to be taken care of immediately and the ones that can be resolved afterward. Being able to filter and prioritize requires principles, patience, and time-management skills.Technical and problem-solving skills, given that the environments your work enters are ever-changing. In other words, get to know-and love-things you aren't originally familiar with, including both traditional and contemporary network settings. That is in addition to having general software development concepts and analytical skills. High analytical intelligence, with the ability to understand business processes & requirements, and turning them into well-written and clear specifications and practical business solutions.Minimum of 2 years in IT Service Management experience in production environments.A good understanding of NetSuite and Atlassian Cloud, its features, modules, and workflows, is highly desirable.Experience shell scripting and programming, using REST API, Python, JavaScript/JSON, or any modern tooling.Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse and geographically dispersed people daily.Relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications. ITIL Foundation qualification is highly desired.

Essential duties and responsibilities
Responsible for operating NPI oven systems used in the manufacturing of products sold to our customers.Expected to work to effectively to meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production rates. Environmental working conditions

Qualifications
Introductory level position; Minimum 2 years experience as an assembly technician or machine operator in a manufacturing or production environment with some inspection responsibilities desired.
Prior experience in medical device, aerospace, automotive, or regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
Prior experience interpreting technical drawings & specifications required.
Proficiency in the use of measuring and test equipment preferred.
Demonstrate ability to check dimensions, surface relationships, finish material defects and mechanical strength of product following appropriate training required.
Prior experience in the use of PC's and Microsoft Office software applications required.
Ability to effectively communicate with other operators required.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with a wide variety of equipment required.
The ability to strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, including all safety, health, and environmental procedures required.
Knowledge of basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, proportions, and fractions required.
