1989 Designed and began construction on a six million pound tendon test facility and flex joint test facility to support development of TLP's (Tension Leg Platforms).

In total, the chemical industry boasted sales of $268 billion in 1990.

1991 Began offering metallurgical services and computational fluid dynamics services.

1992 Opened an office in Cincinnati, Ohio to increase services to consumer products industry.

According to Engineering News Record, analysts and industry executives attributed the improvement to the international market, where some $5.2 billion in billings were seen in 1995.

1996 Built a new office/laboratory facility in Cincinnati.

Chang-bok focused on the Arabian markets as his company restructured in a rebound from the Asian monetary crisis of 1997.

The firm's revenues of $17.4 billion in 1998 constituted a 96.8 percent growth in the wake of a merger with Dresser Industries Incorporated that was finalized on September 29, 1998.

In 2000 the top 500 engineering services design firms secured a total of $43 billion in revenues, according to Engineering News Record . That year, 168 firms reported an average profit of 7.1 percent, while 10 reported a loss.

The top 200 environmental engineering firms posted revenues of $32.8 billion in 2001.

2004 Stress Subsea, Inc. was formed to offer design and project services for subsea production systems in conjunction with Floating Systems Practice.

2005 Opened the Houston test lab 17,500 sq ft expansion that included a six million pound load frame.

2006 Expanded service offerings with a cold testing facility, thermal insulation testing facility, and expanded vibration analysis and field testing services.

2008 Purchased dedicated facility for Acoustic Emission and Measurement & Control practice areas.

2009 Opened a 41,000 square foot LEED office building/ conference facility in Houston and a 34,000 square foot laboratory in Waller, Texas featuring a corrosive materials test lab.

2012 Stress Engineering Services celebrates 40 years of service.

2014 Acquired Efird Corrosion International, Inc., a technical service and research company specializing in corrosion testing and analysis and opened our Corrosion Technology Center in The Woodlands, Texas.

Subsequently expanded business into equipment design, manufacturing and global service supporting the electronics product and semiconductor industries till being acquired by Kimball Electronics on 1 Oct 2018.
