We are a small, global team of engineers and data scientists who deliver solutions built both in-house and in partnerships with tech industry vendors - from fintech startups to institutional giants. Many of our projects are proofs of concept leveraging cutting-edge technologies like natural language processing, computer vision, blockchain, and conversational AI. Our team works rapidly and collaboratively like a start-up, but with the resources and opportunities of a large global institution.

What You'll Do

As a Engineering Lead Analyst you will be responsible for developing applications in the emerging tech space. You will have the opportunity to:
  • Research and experiment with innovative technologies across various fields, e.g. natural language processing (NLP), cloud engineering, blockchain, Open Banking technologies.
  • Rapidly prototype, test, and evaluate solutions built with cutting-edge data science, big data engineering, server-side, and reactive front-end technologies
  • Design, build, and deploy production-ready applications operating on a diverse range of structured and unstructured data in the financial space
  • Own high-visibility projects from start to finish alongside data scientists, UI/UX designers, and project managers in a collaborative, flexible, and fast-paced environment
  • Power innovative products which streamline productivity, enhance existing products, or deliver the next generation of banking and analytics tools to support CGW's best-in-class private banking services


What You'll Need
  • Strong understanding of basic software development principles, e.g. OOP, encapsulation, and micro services architecture
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, React, Angular, SQL, Javascript, and other language or domain-specific packages like Spring, Pandas, React, etc.
  • Proficiency with mobile development such as Flutter/iOS/Android a plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise CI/CD tools like Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and uDeploy
  • 6-10 years working experience in engineering, analytics, web application development, micro services,
  • Experience with agile development
  • Strong communication skills, e.g. ability to translate business use cases to tech specs, working with diverse project teams, and developing relationships with vendors
