We're looking for an FSI Lead to own the cradle-to-grave lifecycle of our federal SI ecosystem. This leader will identify, recruit, and enable priority FSIs, ensure operational excellence across partner processes and tools, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to turn strategy into results. They are comfortable working with executive stakeholders and rolling up their sleeves on hands-on enablement. They identify, manage, and mitigate risks, and establish repeatable partner management processes that scale our business.
This role is based in the Washington, D.C. area with an emphasis on looking for someone to stay close to the FSI community. Most major FSIs and niche SIs are based in D.C./Virginia, and proximity is critical to relationship-building and execution.
What You'll Achieve:
Establish Asana's FSI partner motion for public sector, supporting AsanaGov across recruitment, onboarding, enablement, and ongoing performance management.
Build and own relationships with priority federal SIs; target, engage, and progress large, named FSIs (e.g., GDIT, Booz Allen, Raytheon) into productive partners.
Drive a cohesive sell-through model between FSIs, Carahsoft (our distributor), and Asana channel CPMs; align operating rhythms, workflows, and performance tracking.
Create and run scalable partner enablement: deliver training, stand up “better together” materials, guide partner portal access, and establish repeatable playbooks.
Collaborate with AsanaGov leaders and Product to align partner motions with roadmap, integrations, and field enablement needs.
Proactively surface misalignment and risks across partners and internal teams; gain consensus on actions and track to resolution.
Define year-one MBOs; establish KPIs, reporting cadences, and mechanisms to measure partner productivity and pipeline impact.
Contribute to job description, interview panel alignment, and process to rapidly staff and operationalize the motion.
About you:
Based in the Washington, D.C. area (required) to engage closely with the federal SI ecosystem.
Deep understanding of the federal/public sector landscape and FSI ecosystem; security clearance preferred but not required if you know the market and stakeholders.
Hands-on operator who “checks ego at the door”; equally comfortable engaging C-levels and executing tactical enablement (e.g., portal access walkthroughs).
Experience recruiting, onboarding, and enabling partners; proven ability to take a net-new partner motion from concept to repeatable execution.

Primary Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and document independent verification and validation activities across the SDLC.
Develop independent test plans, test cases, and verification procedures, including in-sprint, post-sprint, and pre-release testing.
Review and assess system artifacts including requirements, design documentation, test results, release notes, and operations documentation.
Participate in and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and release readiness reviews.
Conduct technical assessments of system performance, scalability, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
Evaluate compliance with federal IT policies, CPIC reporting requirements, and applicable OMB guidance.
Identify technical risks, defects, and gaps; document findings and recommend mitigation strategies.
Support configuration management activities, including change request analysis and CCB participation.
Contribute to risk registers, dashboards, and technical sections of WAR, QSR, and risk reports.
Provide technical input to executive briefings and leadership decision support materials.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
8+ years of experience supporting federal IT systems in a technical assessment, IV&V, or quality assurance role.
Demonstrated experience performing independent system verification and validation.
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile development practices.
Experience conducting functional, regression, and performance testing.
Ability to analyze complex technical issues and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience reviewing and validating system documentation and operational artifacts.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting HHS or other civilian federal agencies.
Familiarity with grants management systems or large transactional platforms.
Experience with compliance assessments and federal reporting requirements.

Competency in failure analysis techniques such as FMEA, 8D/Corrective Action, Fishbone IFD, Cause and Effect Analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), and risk assessment.
Experienced in managing supplier relationships and implementing corrective actions and rigorous quality control measures to ensure product standards and reliability are consistently met.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills along with customer focus, decision-making, influencing and ability to meet deadlines.

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

This IT Systems Engineer role is pivotal in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise identity and access management across Okta and integrated SaaS systems. By owning identity governance at scale, including SSO/SCIM integrations, automated employee lifecycle (Joiner/Mover/Leaver), and self-service access workflows, you'll help reduce security risks and improve operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
Administer Okta by managing SSO/SAML/OIDC, SCIM provisioning, groups, policies, MFA, and app assignments with clear ownership and audit trails, ensuring security and efficiency that support organizational success
Design and operate self-service access workflows through Okta Request conditions, including approval routing, compliance tracking, and Jira integration for visibility and auditability
Build and maintain integrations across People (Workday), identity platforms (Okta), and SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Atlassian) using Okta Workflows, Tray.io, Workato, and API/webhook patterns to automate processes and increase efficiency
Own end-to-end employee lifecycle automation (Joiner/Mover/Leaver), including provisioning, access grants, and deprovisioning workflows. Document recovery paths for exceptions and verify alignment with the downstream systems
Implement secure workarounds for SaaS applications that don't support SSO, including service account management, credential governance, and automated deprovisioning
Serve as the escalation point for complex support and/or access-related issues originating from Level 1/2 helpdesk teams
Partner with Compliance and Company stakeholders on periodic UARs (access reviews), RBAC tuning, and audit support, using Request Conditions history and ticket linkages
What You'll Bring To The Team
3+ years of experience in Okta administration across SSO/SAML/OIDC, SCIM, group mapping, and policies, with a strong understanding of audit/SOX implications and documentation needs
5+ years of IT Support experience with escalation management and documentation
Proven hands-on experience with iPaaS and automation platforms (Okta Workflows, Tray.io, Workato) to implement approval flows, listeners, and provisioning logic tied to event triggers
Proficiency working with APIs and webhooks to integrate SaaS systems; ability to design workflows with retries and clear error handling paths
Administration of SaaS apps like Google Workspace, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), and Slack in an enterprise setting, aligned to identity governance and service management practices
Clear stakeholder communication mindset and strong project management skills, helping align IT initiatives with business priorities and driving cross-functional impact
Experience incorporating AI tools (e.g., LLMs like OpenAI, Agents) into everyday processes to improve operational efficiency, empowering you to drive meaningful innovation within the team
Experience evolving self‑service models to improve user productivity while preserving scope boundaries
Comfort implementing compliant exceptions when SSO is not supported by a vendor, using owner/service accounts with traceability in Okta logs and downstream automation
Bonus Points
Experience with Okta logging, SIEM monitoring tools (Splunk, etc.), and reporting
Okta Certified Administrator or Okta Certified Professional/Consultant Certification

The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $120,000 to $130,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role.
We expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With quarterly vesting, your first vest date will take place within 3 months of your start date.
