Position Overview:
As part of the talented Tech Center team, you will drive mechanical system design and integration for Brunswick's marine products, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver innovative, manufacturable solutions. Uses CAE tools to develop 3D models for components and layouts, with emphasis on complex mechanisms and systems-level engineering.

Essential Functions:
Lead and execute mechanical system design across fluid systems, structural components, and complex mechanisms, ensuring manufacturability and supplier readiness through 3D/2D modeling and validation.
Review and approve specifications, drawings, and ECNs, ensuring alignment with cost, performance, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, manufacturing, and customer service to support product launches, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Mentor junior engineers and lead internal/external design reviews to uphold engineering standards.
Validate designs using warranty data, system testing, and compliance checks with industry regulations and sustainability goals.
Support sourcing and quality assurance by verifying materials and providing accurate specifications.
Travel as needed (minimum 10%) to support development and integration activities.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
Experience: 5+ years in marine product design preferred, with strong knowledge of production processes and system-level engineering.
Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD (Siemens NX preferred), 3D modeling, FEA, and design validation tools (FMEA, DVP&R, PLM systems). Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
Professional Skills: Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; capable of mentoring and working cross-functionally.
Tools & Software: Skilled in Microsoft Office and engineering software platforms.
Other: Passion for the marine industry and commitment to quality, standards, and sustainability. Willingness to work extended hours and pursue ongoing professional development.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $69,00 - $110, 500 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.

Position Summary
The Engineering Technologist II position is the second level of the non-Engineer degreed technical support role job classification. This position is part of the Protection and Control Engineering group located in the Duke Energy Engineering office in Lake Mary Florida. This work group is responsible for design of protection and control relaying applications for substations (new and existing). Design projects range from routine equipment modifications and installations to the complete design of new transmission facilities. Coordinates work to manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely release of engineering designs. Utilizes a variety of tools and techniques in order to complete an engineering design, including current design specifications, pertinent code manuals, computer aided design/drafting software, and other reference sources. Final product is an engineering release package consisting of pertinent drawings and bills of material.
The person in this position will work as part of a project team to develop detailed project scopes, layouts of control equipment enclosures, detailed elementary, schematic and wiring diagram drawings and plans required for construction of specific substation projects. The work performed by this unit requires an understanding of power systems, transformers, protective relaying and electrical engineering principles. The person will be involved in the development and review of designs for high voltage substations at voltages of 23kV, 115kV, 230kV and 500kV. Additionally, the person in this position is expected to develop some knowledge in protective relay settings calculations and analysis based on current and evolving standards (IEEE, NERC, etc.). The person in this position must be able to manage multiple projects in various stages of design so as to meet project schedule deadlines; provide design support to field personnel during project implementation; develop and maintain sufficient level of expertise in use of CAD software for efficient production of engineering work; and collaborate in a team environment to spread knowledge and to produce the best quality product possible.

Job Description
In this role, you will be performing electronic repair and calibration of onsite medical equipment. The Electronic Tech will be ensuring that known machinery is fixed to standard, and will perform routine checks on equipment as needed.
Ensures diagnostic/therapeutic equipment meets manufacturer's specifications for safe and proper use by the performance of routine safety inspections, PM/calibrations, and repairs of assigned equipment.
Utilizes available service literature relevant to equipment for completing repair and PM actions and ordering of needed parts.
Monitors rental and other non hospital owned devices for compliance with corporate safety policies.
Communicates information regarding status of assigned equipment to supervisor and appropriate medical personnel in the using department.
Able to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Qualifications
Must have Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Repair OR Associate's degree in Electronics

2 Years of working experience in Biomedical Instrumentation field with NO Degree

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Must have experience with the design and supervision of a project with the aid of AutoCAD/Civil 3d software, and previous experience with up-grading and maintenance of existing civil facilities.
