About the Role

The Transmission Department's primary function is to facilitate safe and reliable operation of all transmission pipeline systems, transmission stations, distribution stations, and all large customer metering systems.
This position reports to Company's Asheville Operations Center in Asheville, North Carolina.

What you will do:
Installs, maintains, and inspects take-off, mainline, and transmission natural gas regulating stations
Sets-up, tests, maintains, and services industrial and commercial natural gas meters, take-off stations and transmission and mainline regulating stations
Maintains natural gas-related equipment such as compressors, flow controllers, valve operators, heaters, and relief valves
Performs various other tasks associated with the maintenance of field measurement systems
Responds to emergency situations
Who You Are:
Associate Gas Measurement Technician - 0 - 2 years of related experience
Professional, effective communication skills with internal and external customers
Ability to demonstrate self-motivation by showing the ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations
Ability to operate common hand and power tools
Ability to use meter and pressure testing equipment
General knowledge of safety policies and procedures, electronic controls and Department of Transportation regulations
Basic computer knowledge including a demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Heavy lifting up to 80 lbs. independently.
Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations
Must be willing and able to meet a 45-minute emergency response time from the geographical center of the Asheville region. Emergency response time is a critical measure for Enbridge Gas North Carolina and candidates are required to consistently meet this requirement, including when on-call.
Willingness to attend external training to gain needed skills either on personal and/or company time
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience:
A minimum of one year of natural gas industry field experience
Experience using a laptop computer to program electronic corrections and industrial automated meter reading equipment
An understanding of gas measurement and regulating equipment

A two-year technical degree or related certification(s) is preferred.

Other Working Conditions
Applicants must be willing and able to work overtime, after-hours, on-call rotations, nights and weekends as work needs dictate. Additionally, occasional overnight travel to other North Carolina work locations may be required and is anticipated. Travel assignments may range from a day or two up to a few weeks. A complete understanding of the responsibility and dedication the position requires is crucial.
Work is performed outside in varying weather conditions (i.e. cold, heat, rain, etc.) and requires routine use of proper PPE including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, FR clothing, and work boots per company policies.
Position requires continuous travel throughout the service territory with frequent stops, entering/exiting the company vehicle, safely parking in a wide variety of situations, and driving in construction zones.
Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to): Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 80 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (up to 80 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

The Measurements Technician's home location will be at the Wilmington CA Terminal. This position requires considerable travel away from the home location. Familiarity with terminal load rack and measurement equipment is preferred along with a strong mechanical aptitude. The ability to learn and interact with specialized computer software (including Microsoft Word and Excel) is required. This position prefers current CDL license and ability to pass a DOT physical examination. Additionally, the candidate must attain and maintain multiple state certifications for meter calibration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Calibrate custody transfer meters at light product terminals within assigned region using company owned Small Volume Prover and/or Prover Can trailers.
* Monitor and analyze meter factor drift and work with Measurement Specialists to recommend corrective actions based on the analysis.
* Assist the Measurement Specialist with investigation and resolution of loss/gain issues at terminals.
* Maintain meter calibration equipment (Small Volume Provers and Prover Cans).
* Maintain DOT Compliance on assigned fleet equipment, CDL License, and required State Registered Serviceperson Licenses.
* Develop and maintain competency with respect to API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards and governmental regulations pertaining to measurements (National Institute of Standards and Technology Handbook 44 Specifications, Tolerances, and Other Technical Requirements for Weighing and Measuring Devices).
* Assist to ensure Small Volume Provers and Prover Cans are following state certification requirements and are calibrated within the regulatory time frames.
* Collaborate with Terminal Planners and Operations regarding on-time completion of preventive and correction maintenance activities.
* Provide field assistance and calibration for new meter installations, rebuilds and meter upgrades, as applicable.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with various state officials in their Weights and Measures departments. Maintain knowledge of state requirements to ensure L&S meets those requirements along with documented company policies.
* Measure, monitor, and communicate the accuracy and correctness of the meter proving process and evaluate opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Develop and maintain competency with the mechanical and electrical aspects of terminal meters, small volume provers, prover cans, and control valves. Work closely with M&VCS, ES and SMEs for additional support, as needed. Review performance data on measurement equipment to evaluate a need for repairs or replacements.
* Work independently without direct, daily supervision.
* Provide field assistance to other L&S components, based on business need and priority, under the direction of the Terminal Services Measurement Supervisor.
* The successful candidate will need to have strong communication skills along with the ability to contribute to the team through critical thinking and technical, interpersonal, and business acumen. They must have an openness to handle special assignments as well as a drive to achieve results.
* This job will require completion of the Electrical Worker Program (EWP) to support core job responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* High School Diploma or GED is required.
* 5+ years of Operational or Transport Experience preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and others is preferred.
* Experience in problem solving, terminal operations, measurement, and processes, as well as basic knowledge of flow and liquid measurements and testing, is preferred.

As a Project Engineering Technician II for Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE), you will be working under the immediate supervision/direction of a registered professional engineer. You will work as a team member alongside site managers and engineers to perform the required inspection or sampling services. Our special Inspections technicians play a critical role in the quality assurance for every construction project no matter how large or small. Special Inspections Technicians actively collect concrete, soil, and other site materials for testing along with the continuous monitoring of general contractor activities, which may include but are not limited to onsite testing and reporting of earthwork and soil construction; foundation/subgrade evaluation; reinforcing steel; concrete placements; masonry as well as asphalt testing. Special Inspections Technicians are also responsible for accurately preparing daily reports for submission to the assigned project engineer. These reports not only include your test results summary, but detailed construction site observations as well.
Minimum Job Requirements
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
2-5 years of experience demonstrating knowledge of construction materials testing services. OR more than 5 years' experience in lieu of certifications and exhibits skills appropriate for this technician level.
Must have the following two active certifications: ACI-1 Concrete and ICC Soils (or SCDOT/NCDOT Earthwork) plus have the ability to obtain and or recertify for one of the certifications below within three months of employment:
ICC Reinforced Concrete or ICC Masonry + 1 additional industry certification (i.e., fireproofing) based on the discretion of your managers' needs.
Valid Driver's License with Clean Motor Vehicle Driving history (3 years)

Your Role: Electrical BIM Technician
The BIM Technician in the Electrical Engineering Department is responsible for developing, modifying, and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for electrical systems. This role supports engineers and designers by creating detailed 3D models, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams to avoid conflicts.
Perform clash detection and resolve design issues in collaboration with engineers and other trades.
Create detailed electrical layouts, including conduit routing, lighting plans, and panel schedules.
Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, BIM execution plans).
Assist in developing and implementing BIM workflows and best practices.
Update and manage BIM files, families, and templates to improve efficiency.

NDT Technician

Required Skills and Experience (Trainee):
Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment, or in a manufacturing trade (including technical school), preferably with metalworking/welding/machining exposure.

Responsibilities:
Safety - daily participation and involvement in individual and team safety responsibilities such as Behavior Based Safety, housekeeping practices, chemical labeling, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Assure that NDT inspections are accurate and performed in accordance with the applicable customer specifications.
Perform diversified magnetic particle, surface temper etch, eddy current, and metallurgical inspection/tests on bearing components according to company specifications, requirements, and standards.
Evaluate and properly identify testing indications and potential causes. Distinguish relevant from non-relevant indications.
Mix and maintain all types of surface temper etch solutions including acids, bases, and cleaning solutions as required.
Maintain NDT test equipment as required by specification, preventive maintenance plan, or customer requirement.
Obtain in-process/finished bearings/parts from designated storage areas. Obtain sequence sheet and compare/check data against engineering drawing(s) for accuracy. Perform appropriate NDT tests/inspections on bearings/components, as required.
Periodically perform chemical processing operations such as black oxide and passivation.
Use various hand tools, fluorescent powder mixture, and acid base solutions/bath to conduct appropriate NDT tests.
