Under minimum supervision, the WTG Mech/Tech carries out daily complex assembly, service, repair, and operations of infrastructure to wind turbine generators and related equipment and facilities.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with minimum supervision, coordinating other crew members to assist with and perform tasks as required.
Troubleshoot, repair, and/or retrofit of complex electrical, mechanical and or hydraulic components.
Follow specific verbal and written instructions to perform WTG (and associated equipment) assembly, repair, and maintenance. Performs all duties and job requirements of a Technician.
Complete and maintain required company documentation and records.
Clean and organize tools equipment and work area, including sweeping, mopping, wiping oil, grease, solvent spills.
Travel to various job sites for extended periods.
Work must meet customer and company standards required of position and job.
Comply with Corporate, OSHA, and GETSG policies and procedures at all times.
Service Reporting, work order documents, and records will be written neatly, legibly, and completed correctly.
Maintain required training certifications for position held. Responsible for assessing skills needed to perform specific tasks.
Work is performed within project schedules.
Requirements

The primary role of the Preventive Maintenance Technician in the Engineering Department is to follow a preventive maintenance schedule and to assist with maintenance and repairs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Check windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall; Repair or create Work Ticket.
Drywall - Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces. Fill cracks, holes, or joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives. Smooth surfaces, using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, etc. Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, apply paint.
Wood - Patios, thresholds, cabinets; Sand as necessary, apply oil, stain, varnish, enamel, or other finishes using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
Keeps track and inventory of parts, supplies, or equipment needed for preventive maintenance.
Perform routine maintenance in all areas, following a Preventive Maintenance schedule.

Inspect, operate, or test plumbing fixtures to diagnose leaks and/or malfunctions and repair using hand tools.

The Maintenance Controls Technician at Armtec installs, troubleshoots, monitors, corrects, and proposes improvements to equipment electronic control and communication systems that improve equipment uptime and reliability. In addition, the Maintenance Controls Technician performs preventive maintenance along with the Electrician's on Armtec's electrical systems. They need to be proficient and able to train other Maintenance Mechanics on equipment AC power distribution systems, as well as DC logic control hardware, HMI's and programming software, as well as the associated sensors, vision systems, motors, drives, actuators, and industrial communication networks. The Maintenance Controls Technician will work Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts but must be available as needed to support production needs on all shifts.
Our existing control systems at Armtec are primarily based around Allen Bradley logic controllers, however we do have various other systems including Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Beckhoff based systems that we occasionally need to work with. The equipment these systems control are multi-station assembly systems, presses, trimmers, and fluid handling systems that consist of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, optical, and pneumatic devices.
Our products are components in large and medium caliber ammunition products, and contain various levels of energetic materials, so safety is of paramount importance.
Primary Responsibilities
Troubleshoot equipment electrical controls systems
Understand PLC programming, wiring schematics, HMI programming, and input/output diagrams
Provide training to Maintenance Mechanics
Place requisitions for needed spare parts and tools
Work with engineers to define and document requirements for electrical systems, new control systems and system upgrades.
Construct test beds and trainers to test equipment and train Maintenance Mechanics
Provide guidance, and assistance to peers and technicians.
Stays informed concerning new technologies, materials and equipment, and investigates potential applications.
Develop and improve equipment troubleshooting procedures, maintenance procedures, and spare parts lists
Collaborate with internal customers on technical issues
Able to work extended hours/shifts as required
Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline highly desired.
