    Under minimum supervision, the WTG Mech/Tech carries out daily complex assembly, service, repair, and operations of infrastructure to wind turbine generators and related equipment and facilities. Essential Functions: The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with minimum supervision, coordinating other crew members to assist with and perform tasks as required. Troubleshoot, repair, and/or retrofit of complex electrical, mechanical and or hydraulic components. Follow specific verbal and written instructions to perform WTG (and associated equipment) assembly, repair, and maintenance. Performs all duties and job requirements of a Technician. Complete and maintain required company documentation and records. Clean and organize tools equipment and work area, including sweeping, mopping, wiping oil, grease, solvent spills. Travel to various job sites for extended periods. Work must meet customer and company standards required of position and job. Comply with Corporate, OSHA, and GETSG policies and procedures at all times. Service Reporting, work order documents, and records will be written neatly, legibly, and completed correctly. Maintain required training certifications for position held. Responsible for assessing skills needed to perform specific tasks. Work is performed within project schedules. Primary Responsibilities Troubleshoot equipment electrical controls systems Understand PLC programming, wiring schematics, HMI programming, and input/output diagrams Provide training to Maintenance Mechanics Place requisitions for needed spare parts and tools Work with engineers to define and document requirements for electrical systems, new control systems and system upgrades.
