    About the role: The Electrical Engineering Technician/Electrical Engineer will have the opportunity to perform a broad range of work tasks with guidance and support from other engineering and management staff. Hydro-electric equipment and duties within the scope of this position includes but is not limited to generators, governors, excitation systems, generator circuit breakers, switchgear, switchboards, motor control centers, motors, control boxes, relay panels, lighting systems, power distribution systems and components, instrumentation (level, flow, pressure, temperature, vibration), and diesel engine-generator sets. Utilize equipment predictive data analysis to enhance equipment performance and recommend outage schedules for performing preventative maintenance. Develop electrical schematics and drawings to guide installation and maintenance of hydro-electric equipment and systems. What skills and experience you'll need: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a minimum of four years' work experience in a related field. Travel as required for project supervision and execution (~30%). Strong understanding of power systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other disciplines. Experience with industrial electrical systems and maintenance practices.
