Daily Engagement of workforce through direction of work assignments, compensation, communication, recognition, development and coaching, etc…

POSITION SUMMARY
The Lift Maintenance department is looking for a Ropeway Electrical Technician to add to the team! Formal training in electronics and lift electrical maintenance experience required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsible for aiding in the monitoring and maintaining of all lift electrical equipment to ensure the safest and most reliable lift operation possible
Will be involved in the installation of lift control systems on new and existing lifts
Must complete work orders on all maintenance activities
Must maintain an understanding of the current rules and regulations of the Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board and other applicable agencies
Must become proficient at starting stalled ski lifts; assist in running lifts under auxiliary power and following lift failure and evacuation procedures
Must continually demonstrate a willingness and motivation to learn and develop the job skills that are specific to the types of equipment that must be maintained
Must be able to work well within a team to create a positive work environment in a high volume, and at times, stressful position
May work nights and weekends during the summer and winter seasons as needed

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

Summary
SENS is seeking a self-motivated engineering technician to join our growing company. This individual will work closely with Engineering to prototype, test and release new products as well as improve existing designs.
Responsibilities
Manage prototype fabrication shop including layout, setup, maintenance and operation of machinery and equipment.
Fabrication and assembly of prototypes including enclosures, cabinets (UL508a compliant), frames and PCBs. Provide feedback to Engineering on design improvements.
Support development of test fixturing for prototypes, SENS manufacturing or vendor facilities.
Execute engineering design changes to improve products and manufacturing processes.
Facilitate and support regulatory testing including UL, Seismic, shock and vibration testing.
Support new product hand-off to Production including product documentation, production line setup, test equipment configuration, and training manufacturing assembly/test operators.
Troubleshoot and repair test equipment, repair cable harnesses, reset test software, and update settings as needed.
Provide input on production build and test instructions to ensure products are built and tested correctly every time.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of mechanical and electrical experience as an engineering technician.
Associate's degree in a technical field or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience with a wide range of fabrication techniques including machining, welding, sheet metal forming, 3D printing, CNC programming and CAM.
Excellent understanding of fundamental electronics.

Scope of Work:
Primary purpose of this position is to perform updates to the Air Forces NexGen asset management database and produce reports as required, and performs cost estimates for Capital projects.
Responsibilities:
Assists Programmer in Civil Engineering in complying with legal and regulatory requirements when finical programming MILCON, SRM O&M, Medical and NAF facility projects including preparing DD Form 1391s, Military Construction Project Data. Researches, interprets, analyzes, and applies proper Air Force Instructions (AFIs), especially AFI 32-1020, Planning and Programming Built Infrastructure Projects, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC's), U.S. Code, guidelines, pamphlets, policies, letters, when finically programming facility and infrastructure projects.
Monitors coordination/approval process for converting work requests into contract projects to include validating proper work classification during programming, design, and construction to ensure statutory project approval is obtained from the correct approval authority.
Implements metrics and analyzes systems/processes to ensure actions are efficient, timely, and reviewed at critical points.
Develop, plan, and ensure customer proponents justify capital improvement projects for USAFA facilities.

Requirements:
2-5 years of experience working in Air Force Civil Engineering organizations or other military Services (Army, Navy, Coast Guard) Department of Public Works organizations providing programming, design, and/or construction documentation is preferred.
Knowledge of the Civil Engineering and Air Force funding processes and funding sources including MILCON, O&M (SRM) and NAF. NAF funding includes privately funded and donor funded projects.
