General Functions & Scope
Primary responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining high-speed production and packaging equipment, serving as a technical resource for electrical motors, drives, and major components. Key Accountabilities
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. This includes following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications, as well as troubleshooting malfunctions.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical and electrical devices in operation, listening for irregularities, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, and examines the form and condition of parts.
Determines dimensional changes in parts by inspecting used components and utilizing measurement tools such as rules, calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
Fabricates repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, and generating purchase requisitions.
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
Provides mechanical and electrical maintenance information and prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains technical knowledge through educational workshops, technical publications, and professional networks.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications / Competencies
Electrical Journeyman's Papers are required, with the ability and desire to attain Master Electrician Papers. Key competencies include equipment maintenance, technical understanding, adaptability in uncertain environments, electrical safety knowledge, proficiency with power tools, attention to detail, flexibility, supervision, job knowledge, and productivity.
Physical Demands
While performing job duties, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. The role requires occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The employee works in a standard manufacturing environment with a moderate noise level. Occasionally, duties may be performed in hot, dusty, or cramped areas. Additional personal protective equipment may be required.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position requiring shift work, including days, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Some flexibility in hours is allowed; however, availability during scheduled shifts is required. Shift hours are established by department managers or supervisors.

Your Impact

* Hands-on experience building or leveraging hardware acceleration with DPUs or NPUs.
Preferred Qualifications

role is in the Product Integrity department of the Power Management business unit. The Product Integrity team setups and executes test cases to validation new AC Power products. Products may have a regional scope or a global scope.
The Engineering Test Technician will setup the unit under test and the instrumentation as per the test plan. They will operate the unit under test and collect data as per the individual test cases. While executing the test cases, the technician will make observations and keep notes regarding the unit under test's performance. All of the data collected and the technician's notes are entered into the test results by the technician. The technician participates in daily standup meetings, keeps their work areas clean and safe, and assists with keeping all the test labs clean and safe.
This position will be based onsite at our Delaware, OH location. This will be a 2nd Shift position will hours being 3:00pm - 12:00am. There will be training for 2-3 months on 1st shift to start.
Responsibilities:
Follow safety policies.
Setup the unit under test and other equipment which entails connecting large cables (up to 50lbs).
Setup instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power meters, CTs, voltage probes, and other equipment).
Execute test cases, operate unit under test, operate the instrumentation, collect data, and document the results.
Troubleshoot and correct problems with test setups and with units under test.
Suggest continuous improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
Associate of Science majoring in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or military certification achieved.
1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
Broad knowledge of electrical and mechanical test techniques.
Experience with 208/230/480V/600V 3-phase 60/50 Hz wiring and equipment.
Experience with 120v 1-phase 60Hz wiring and equipment.
Experience with instrumentation and low volt wiring.
Experience with electrical safety tools and techniques.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
General mechanical skills assembling and disassembling electrical equipment including but not limited to, high power electronics, large magnetic components, circuit boards, high current wiring etc.

Key Responsibilities:
* Technical and operational ability to run, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment.
* Organize, prep, and prepare parts required to properly complete machine repairs or improvements.
* Interpret, create, and continually improve PM task lists in a partnership with the TPM coordinator as needed.

This team is building segmented firewalling directly in the data plane-a first-of-its-kind innovation not available elsewhere in the industry. **Your Impact**
In this role, you will design, build, and optimize the data plane for Cisco Hypershield using C++, P4, and hardware offload technologies such as DPUs and NPUs. You'll work hands-on with AMD DPU specifications, packet processing pipelines, and performance-critical components from day one.
Success in this role means operating in a fast-paced model-quickly absorbing the architecture, contributing to data-plane development immediately, and delivering reliable, high-performance code with minimal hand-holding.
