Perform field and on-site laboratory tests on soil, geosynthetics, aggregates, and other materials primarily associated with landfill and/or waste containment system construction;

Position Details
Title: BAS Controls Technician
Location: Miami, Florida
Hiring: Mid-Level & Senior-Level Technicians
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00/hour (experience-based)
Vehicle: Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (varies by role/territory)
Key Responsibilities
Install, terminate, calibrate, and troubleshoot BAS sensors, controllers, relays, panels, and field devices
Perform functional testing, point-to-point verification, and device validation
Assist with BAS integrations using BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks protocols
Work closely with project managers and programmers to support commissioning and closeout efforts
Deliver professional on-site technical support and customer service
Document work completed, test results, and system configuration updates
Ideal Candidate
Hands-on experience as a BAS Controls Technician or similar technical role
Strong background in DDC hardware, low-voltage wiring, and device commissioning
Solid understanding of HVAC equipment such as RTUs, chillers, boilers, AHUs, and VAVs
Familiar with BAS communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
Excellent troubleshooting abilities and strong communication skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout South Florida

Must be able to evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate units using official documents.
Must have knowledge and experience with mechanical tools, multimeters, micrometers, calipers, measuring indicators, and gauges.
Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
Ability to work with standardized tools and electric equipment.
Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
