Skill Requirements: Calibrate, operate, troubleshoot and maintain the equipment Dexterity and good hand-eye coordination are required to collect and prepare specimens Critical thinking skills to recognize problems and develop solutions or alternative approaches Lab safety and infection prevention is of paramount importance Handle pressure responsibility, often performing highly detailed microscopic work for long periods of time Responsibilities may include but not limited to: Examine cell samples to detect abnormalities in the color, shape, or size of cellular components and patterns Prepare and analyze samples, such as Papanicolaou (PAP) smear body fluids and fine needle aspirations (FNAs), to detect abnormal conditions Provide patient clinical data or microscopic findings to assist pathologists in the preparation of pathology reports Assist pathologists or other physicians to collect cell samples such as by fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsies Submit slides with abnormal cell structures to pathologists for further examination Education, Certification, & Experience: Bachelor's degree in cytotechnology CT(ASCP) or SCT(ASCP) certification Three (3) years of experience at minimum Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. JOB PURPOSE: The Production Technician is responsible for building complex rehab equipment based on the order specifications received from ATPs and assisting with other warehouse duties as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepares equipment for delivery according to the order specifications. * Assures the assembled equipment matches the order specifications. * Assists with receiving as needed. * Assists with maintaining an organized warehouse. * Sustains a clean, organized and safe work environment in the shop/warehouse. * Participates in physical inventory counts and reconciliation. * Utilizes Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion's mission. * Adheres to employee and customer confidentiality and complies with Numotion's policies and federal regulations. * Provides excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. PREFERRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. * Proficient in using hand and power tools. * Experience with assembly of medical equipment is a plus. * Warehouse inventory is a plus.
