Technicians work in a variety of roles, all of which are involved in manufacturing the highest-quality light-sensitive coated products in the world.
Components Testing: Kodak's legacy is the production of the finest coated film products in the world. This starts with testing all the components that go into our films and ensuring that they meet our tight standards. Technicians test our liquid components - from gel to sensitized emulsion layers - for chemical concentrations, particle size, density, viscosity, and light sensitivity, etc. Materials of unknown origin, such as dust, and components with unexpected results are also subjected to special testing to determine root cause and origin.
As a technician, you will:
• Work in both light and dark room conditions.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts (days one week, nights the next).
• Work overnights.
• 2-5 years of employment experience.

• Must have the ability to be flexible between multiple positions, sometimes multi-tasking or moving within a shift.

The Engineering Intern helps provide assistance to the engineering department by developing processes, work instructions, test specifications, BOMs, and drawings. The Engineering Intern will work closely with the engineering team to help support the needs of the department.
Job Duties:
* Plays an active role in product design/development including review of technical details, design for manufacture (cost effective and manufacturing process compliant) and design for test (efficient manufacturing test ensuring product quality).
* Work output is directed by senior engineers.
* Takes direction from Senior Engineer, Engineering Supervisor and/or Directors of Engineering.
* Engage in product requirements definition and reviews.
* Participate as reviewer in the design review process.
* Identify, review and develop product improvements.
* Identify, review and implement development process improvements.
* Initiate interdepartmental communication.
* Take part in sales proposal, service, or project process.
* Works in a team environment
Requirements
Education and Experience Required:
* Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Previous work in a manufacturing environment preferred
* Knowledge of fabrication, machining, welding, inspection, and measurement techniques
* Working knowledge of Inventor 3-D modelling software
* Working knowledge of GD&T

SUMMARY: Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs visual inspections and physical tests utilizing equipment in Lab. Products are tested for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance or chemical characteristics.
Records and evaluates test data and writes reports.
Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Enters data into computer for analysis.
Prepares certificates of analysis on finished product for our customers.
Able to use and read measuring instruments as well as operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Trial reports, inspection and tracking.
Assist QA and Technical departments in their duties.
Must take responsibility for work assigned.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Support and follow all plant Safety Rules, GMPs, and other procedural training requirements.
