Key Responsibilities Formulation & Compounding ā—Prepare sterile and non-sterile research formulations including capsules, creams, ointments, suspensions, solutions, injectables, and syrups. ā— Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using precise technique and calibrated lab equipment. ā— Perform potency calculations and assist with formulation trials or process improvements. Product Testing & Documentation ā—Support stability studies, compatibility assessments, and basic analytical tests (pH, viscosity, density, particle size). ā—Document research batches, maintain lab notebooks, label samples, and ensure accurate tracking of materials. ā—Assist in updating SOPs, formulation worksheets, and project-related documents. Laboratory Operations ā— Clean, maintain, and calibrate equipment such as capsule machines, mixers, homogenizers, and balances. ā— Manage ingredient inventory, monitor supply levels, and request ordering when needed. ā— Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant R&D workspace. ā— Experience with picnometers and viscometers preferred per hiring manager intake.
