The Maintenance Controls Technician will work Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts but must be available as needed to support production needs on all shifts.
Our existing control systems at Armtec are primarily based around Allen Bradley logic controllers, however we do have various other systems including Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Beckhoff based systems that we occasionally need to work with. The equipment these systems control are multi-station assembly systems, presses, trimmers, and fluid handling systems that consist of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, optical, and pneumatic devices.
Our products are components in large and medium caliber ammunition products, and contain various levels of energetic materials, so safety is of paramount importance.
Primary Responsibilities
Troubleshoot equipment electrical controls systems
Understand PLC programming, wiring schematics, HMI programming, and input/output diagrams
Provide training to Maintenance Mechanics
Place requisitions for needed spare parts and tools
Work with engineers to define and document requirements for electrical systems, new control systems and system upgrades.
Construct test beds and trainers to test equipment and train Maintenance Mechanics

Calibrate, maintain, and use various laboratory equipment and instruments, such as Refractometers, pH meters, scales, and a spectrometer.
Load, unload, dispatch, as well as receive tankers and/or other bulk juice containers.
Track and verify juice in tanks in accordance with production needs and ensure that data is recorded on bulk manifest on an ongoing basis daily.
Verify the presence of PPE, such as hairnets, facemasks, gloves, etc. used for all plant employees and stocking them when applicable.
Updates bottling board daily and as needed throughout the shift.
Obtain retain and micro samples for all bottled and juice tanker samples.
Responsible for monitoring and filling hand dip and footbaths as needed, throughout the shift in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Verify and record the temperature for juice tanks, the cooler, and the freezer on the appropriate documentation.
Prep and distribute a blank grade out report to the production area.
Record all results on respective paperwork and/or electronic platforms, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Redzone, and/or BatchMaster to ensure HACCP guidelines are met.

Our existing control systems at Armtec are primarily based around Allen Bradley logic controllers, however we do have various other systems including Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Beckhoff based systems that we occasionally need to work with. The equipment these systems control are multi-station assembly systems, presses, trimmers, and fluid handling systems that consist of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, optical, and pneumatic devices.
Our products are components in large and medium caliber ammunition products, and contain various levels of energetic materials, so safety is of paramount importance.
Primary Responsibilities
Troubleshoot equipment electrical controls systems
Understand PLC programming, wiring schematics, HMI programming, and input/output diagrams
Provide training to Maintenance Mechanics
Place requisitions for needed spare parts and tools
Work with engineers to define and document requirements for electrical systems, new control systems and system upgrades.
Construct test beds and trainers to test equipment and train Maintenance Mechanics

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Completion of an ACR or ARRT recognized accredited program in Radiology Technology is required; Associated degree in Radiology Technology is desired.
Experience
One year experience as Special Studies Technologist I with PHH, Inc., OR Required
A minimum of two years of experience in performing technical work which must have included as primary responsibility of radiographic examinations and two or more of the following: mammography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computerized tomography (CT), and special procedures (including angiography).
Licensure/Certification
Possession of valid California CRT license, Fluoroscopy Certification
Current BLS
ARRT required
Specialized training in Interventional Radiography, CT or MRI
Registration in CT, MRI, or Vascular Intervention preferred
Venipuncture certification within six months of hire/transfer
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
Knowledge of:
Hospital established policies quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control policies and procedures.
The more common radiology equipment and instruments used in a hospital setting, basis radiography and at least two of the following: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computerized Tomography, mammography, special procedures (Angiography) procedures.

Strong attention to detail, record keeping, and technical accuracy.
